Our Accommodation experienceHotel was very modern, room very acceptable, very clean and staff were most helpful.
Date of Stay:
December, 2008
Good funky, well designed and modern hotel for a weekend stay. and very easy to get in out of Granada. There is a bus stop next to the hotel and the regular no 33 takes you to Placa Nueva, ideal for the city centre and Albacin/Alhambra. Forget the taxi from the hotel they take too long and the route taken is frustrating as they tend to use the ring road. The spa in the basement is really excellent and I would recommend the massage, steam, jacuzzi package for €30. The staff are really friendly and professional. However the evening meal we had on the Saturday night was poor. We tried two fish dishes both were not fresh and service was abrupt and matter of fact. The double bedroom has two single beds pushed together which is another negative point to an otherwise pleasant and relaxing experience.

Very nice hotel with clean and big rooms. The location isn't in the heart of the town but that's okay as you can easily take a 15 mins bus ride to the town center. Alhambra is also just a 5 min bus ride away.

Though quietly situated it's easy to reach Granada by bus & we even walked back from the city along the old streets in about 30 mins. Staff were very helpful in advising on city attractions. Best not to use the car - we left ours in the secure garage for our short stay. Restaurant offered good value meals and breakfast.

the hotel needs better signs as it took us 1 hour to find the hotel even though we were within 5 klms of it at the alambra and phoned for directions the signs is located on top of the building so very difficult to see from road

While close to the Alhambra by cab and to the city by bus which stops a few metres from the hotel, there is not much immediately around this hotel and walking anywhere decent is not an option - it is up an extremely steep hill towards Alahambra. The rooms are larger than an average room in a Spanish hotel and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Good hotel, easy access by road, excellent location for access to city centre, Sierra Nevada or Alhambra.

An excellent hotel - in a good position to visit the Alhambra ('Hop-on, Hop-off' tourist bus stop nearby, plus good local bus route into town). Outdoor Swimming Pool was fairly good. We didn't have time to try the indoor pool (Also no information was readily available about this facility). Restaurant service was acceptable, plus reasonably priced meals, with good selection at breakfast. Would go again, as also in a good position for visiting Sierra Nevada.

It is good 4 stars hotel, just a little bit aside from the city centre (10 minutes by bus). I gave average rating for service because of reception beeing short of staff.

Not necessarily an issue for everyone but the hotel was quite far out from the centre of Granada so it took an 5-8 Euro taxi to get in and out (buses would be cheaper but tricky with luggage). Lovely air con and very clean/stylish ambience but a bit soulless after the other Andalusian hotels I'd enjoyed on my trip. The staff were a bit unhelpful (eg. they didn't seem to know where the nearest cash points were, roughly how long a taxi would take/cost, needed chasing for room service) - considering how quiet it was this seemed a bad sign for when things are busier!

A good hotel where we came back 12 days later. So that good.

Great loacation, great place to use as a base for the city and surrounding attractions etc. Food was of an excellent quality including a great wine list!

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children (5&6 yrs old).We stayed for 3 nights in room 230 in July 2008. When check in the hotel was ready with double bed and an additional bed for us, everything was very efficient and fast. We found the price was very good for us as a family of 4 other hotels would want us to book 2 rooms instead of 1. The location was not in the city centre ,it is a 10 minutes bus ride. The bus route was very efficient having buses running every 10-15 mins . The bus stop is very nearby and so we did not found difficulties in getting around to the city center. The Alhambra is very near but it is advisable to catch the taxi up ,it cost 5 euros. The room and hotel is very modern and clean. We would highly recommend this hotel if anyone is intend to stay in Granada.

Initally assigned a smoking room - was moved when complained (Non Smoking was Requested)Unable to sleep to 3am due to "Wedding Disco" - no duty manager to mention at weekends. Otherwise a good hotel. As others have noted park outside on the street (free) to avoid the hotel parking charges. If you are a tourist you will need a taxi into town €8 or catch the bus.Outdoor pool - not heated.

Relaxed, contemporary style hotel. Good location, a short taxi ride to Alhambra and to the old town, though very little within walking distance. Good facilities, with good (evening) menu and breakfast. A very pleasant hotel indeed.
