We were upgraded on arrival for $25 a night but the room was awesome. Long way in and out to strip, location is a bit far away from a lot of things. but overall a great stay.

Convenience and availability of the services I needed most. Overall it seemed very clean, but someone left a dirty sock behind. For one of the older Las Vegas establishment, the MGM Grand was very well maintained. I appreciated the soft water, a very comfortable bed and the generosity of many extra pillows. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely room - lovely helpful staff. Only downfalls were Lions not being in their enclosure at all during our visit and no tea/coffee making facilities in room. Otherwise - no complaints.

For anyone who hasnt been to Vegas yet, please I beg you to stay at the MGM GRAND! it is in the best location, right in the middle of all the night life Vegas has to offer! The lobby is fabalous, there are so many resturants inside of the casino itself..that u wouldnt even want to venture to another casino to eat. The buffett at MGM is fabolous-where its bfeast, brunch or dinner the food is great. True the buffet is pricey but thats any buffet u decide to eat at on the strip! Also when u check in the MGM gives u a discount coupon for the buffett so make sure u look inside ur keycard holder or you will miss out! There are several clubs inside the MGM, Studio 54, Tabu and others that play great music, but if u choose to go to another casino to party, they are all right around the corner! Not a far distance at all. Dont forget to go downstairs and check out the shop down there..access to these shops are located by the front door neer the bell hop station! There is also a FAT TUESDAY down there..yummy!!! They also have located in the studio walk food places for anyone not wanting to eat @ the fancy resrturants like Emerils or Wolfgang Puck, there is a MDM, chinese food place, Nathans Hot dog, Pizza and of course all thru the casino is STARBUCKS!!! For the pool loungers there is a pool/club called Wet Republic ...it has about 9 pools and a DJ that keeps the music flowing! Now there is a fee to get into the place, but like most places in Vegas..WOMEN can always get in free..wink wink!! YOU WILL LOVE MGM, so stay there!!

We stayed at MGM for our first trip to Vegas. Had a blast!! Loved the pool! The beds we super comfy. It is a beautiful hotel. Only one thing that could have been better and that was the temperature in the hotel was a bit chilly. Other than that... Loved it!

Upon checking in to the hotel I was told I was being 'Upgraded' to a nicer room that had a more modern feel in the decor. At first I thought, great (who doesn't like upgrades?) That was until I got into the room and I was not impressed in the least bit. The room was smaller than what I actually booked and the window to the outside was over the bed rather than the standard large window I have grown accustomed to with Vegas hotel rooms. At check in the front desk informed me that there was a flat screen TV and while it was technically true, as it was a flat screen tube TV. In this day and age when someone says flat screen I immediately think 'flat panel' which it was not. Yes the room was nice but it wasn't what I wanted when I booked the room. I specifically selected a room in the Grand Tower and not the West Wing, if for nothing else than the window. That may sound picky but it was I wanted. With that said, one call to the front desk rectified the matter and I was promptly checked into the room that I requested. Also, and this is just a small detail regarding the room I eventually stayed in, why no way to hook up an ipod? Granted when you are in Vegas it begs the question, who wants to actually spend time in the hotel room but it would be nice to have when you do in fact go to the room to relax. With that being said, I enjoyed my stay very well and I absolutely loved the pool area.

quick check in with happy employees. the hotel was very clean as were the rooms. the walk through the hotel is long but was also expected from the size. the beds were incredibly confortable awarding great sleep. i would recommend this hotel for any person willing to go the Vegas.

Would definitely stay here again - the beds are super comfortable and the amenities are endless. The only complaint I had was that the pools closed at 8. When it's 107 degrees in the afternoon some of the best swimming and hot tubbing could be had at 9 or later. The dinner buffet was excellent and the nightlife was great. Overall I'd rate the MGM a winner!

I stayed in the West Wing and the room was very spacious and clean. It was a great value for what I paid. The pools were huge. It was very convenient that the monorail stopped right at the casino. It was a very short ride to the airport.

When we fought for a nicer room, they finally gave us one. The west wing rooms are dark, small and far away. I was disappointed with our original room in the west wing and when I first called to ask for another room, I was told that they were booked (totally untrue). We went back to the front desk later because we couldn't stay in that room (it was dark, small and felt unsafe). We pushed until they gave us a room in the regular hotel, which was very nice.

Very central for walking from one hotel to another, airline checkin at the hotel desk which makes it easier when arriving at the airport, just drop off your bag curbside and get onto the plane no waiting in line

I was very happy with our whole MGM experience. Lovely room,quite,very clean, and beds were very comfortable. Staff were very nice and helpfull. Food was good. Will go again for sure.

It was great to be able to check in at the airport. Probably the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. Lots of dining options to choose from. Great value, would def. recommend.

This was our first trip to Vegas and the MGM Grand was a great choice. The location is perfect as it is within easy walking distance to many of the big casinos. Rooms were good sized and kept clean. We spent much of the mornings and afternoons at the awesome pool area. 5 large pools plus the lazy river which winds it's way around the complex make the summer heat bearable. We were very impressed with the dining options. Fiamma in particular was a great restaurant. The best thing was the Orbitz package which gave us $25 free slot play and 2 passes to Studio 54, which was a great deal!! Only down side was that we had reserved a room with 2 queen beds and I had called and confirmed the day of to let them know we would be checking in late, but when we got there they had given away all the rooms with 2 queens, so the four of us were forced to have a room with 1 king and a twin pullout bed and I slept on the couch. Fortunatley, they moved us the next night. But be aware that just because they tell you one thing you may not get it if you check in late.

The Hotel was nice & staff helpful & courteous Not happy with the casino though, too spread out, too much walking back to room & pools Very crowded, very noisy, not enough staff in the casino Had to stop gambling too many times to get a drink, long lines for everything
