Swimming pool was murkey, with no supervision and a child drowned.

as comfortable as the bed and room was they had some problems. 1st problem being that the light in the bathroom had to be changed. couldnt even see in the bathroom. and their was alot of remodeling going on that we werent informed about. and they use way to much bleach on the linens. the sheets and covers and pillow cases werent like real sheets. they felt like some sort of protectors that felt like paper. and the bleach smell was very over powering. other then that it was a very nice hotel and would recommend it to families with children

Nice amenities, breakfast, pool. Bathrooms were outdated and kind of dirty, buffet counter had dirty grout lines. Overall a good hotel for the rate. Could be a little cleaner.

Nice facilities, excellent breakfast, kid friendly. Rooms were not available for check in until after 5 PM. Reservation for 2 Queen beds not honored; clerk claimed that was not guaranteed; ended up with 1 Queen and 1 sofa bed.

I really enjoyed my stay. I travel frequently on business and a comfortable place to stay is important. The beds in the room were incredibly comfortable. I don't think I've ever slept so well away from home. My company pays for my room and I generally have to pay for my own meals. Here I received free breakfast and a few free drinks for the lounge. It was great not having to worry about spending extra money for those things.

They offered a good breakfast with fresh fruit and made to order omelets. In addition, they provided free drinks during happy hour in the bar area. My room was facing the side of the activities and could get quite noisy at times.

The room was comfortable, not as clean as I would have preferred. However I always travel with cleaning supplies. Since we changed rooms (from King to double queens) after checking into the room, I did not complain. I just cleaned the dirty phone and ignored the missing ceiling tile. The workout equipment should be serviced soon. But my grand-daughter and friend enjoyed the pool and play area so it was a enjoyable trip. Wireless internet worked GREAT, and breakfast was good. DeSoto location much better than the Odessa location!!!

Breakfast buffet was great. Only had one elevator and with convention stayed pretty busy. Overall very nice. All 3 rooms had AC problems, but when reported, maintenance was there within 10 min. and when told we still had problems during the night and had to reset AC's, hotel was very accommodating. Staff was very friendly and attentive to needs.

i was in desoto, tx to find a home to purchase. front desk was great in all respects. faxed data for me, gave directions, volunteered to go to store for me since the soda machine was gone. dining was great, pool very clean, overall the hotel looked good.

The pool was great and also the restaurant. The fresh paint was beautiful. Not enough play areas to be called fun dome. Need more lighting in rooms as well as updating.

Check-in was a bit slow and we didn't get very clear directions on how to get to our room, but other than that, things were great! The pool was pretty warm and the hot tub was awesome! The beds were extremely comfortable and the bedding was very nice. But the best part of the hotel was the complimentary breakfast in the morning. We were expecting toast, bagels and coffee. Instead, we came to the restaurant to find eggs, sausage, bacon, oatmeal, french toast, pancakes, every kind of fruit you can think of, cereal, yogurt, on and on. And it was all really good!!! If we had stopped for breakfast after leaving the hotel, we would have easily spent 30+ for breakfast. And the wait staff was great, too. If the need arrises, we will definitely stay at this hotel again!

Big bang for the buck, great breakfast andfriendly people. Need to freshen up the elevator. If you're in or around Desoto, Texas, this is the place to stay. You'll enjoy a fully stocked breakfast buffet, including made to order omelet, as well as complimentary cocktails in the lounge. No hurry to get back early for those drinks, the lounge is open 4-midnight Monday-Thursday and till 2:00 am on the weekends.

The breakfast buffet was awesome! No enforcement of age limits at the pool, unsupervised kids. This is a great place to stay with kids. The playground and pool are great, just need someone to ensure kids are supervised. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, particularly friendly and helpful staff. Also loved the fridge and microwave in the room.

The beds were very comfy and the complimentry breakfast was great! I liked everything. This hotel was great! They have a cozy bar in the lobby. The room was so nice and the bed was super comfy! We enjoyed the complimentry breakfast, they had someone making omelettes to order! Overall, our experience was great!

The restaurant staff and pool and playground. Doors for side entrance dont lock ever. Rooms were substandard. This hotel has a good theme but it needs major work. Our room was renovated poorly- caulking everywhere, wallpaper coming off the walls, doors have gaps where you can see outside. Key card entrances are not working ever. Dogs are allowed to walk around the property unleashed. Major safety issues! The playground and pool was great for the kids. The breakfast far exceeded my expectation.

Updated furniture and bed linens, clean accommodations, quiet weeknight. Room located along walkway, open to atrium over dining room. If there had been evening/nigh time activities downstairs, it would have been noisy. The hotel lobby and room was very clean. It was an easy commute north on I-35E to downtown Dallas. The buffet breakfast offered a variety of food. If you stayed as a business traveler, ask for a quiet room away from the open atrium over the dining area. I would stay at this hotel in the future.

The beds were comfortable. The kids had a very late curfew so it was loud at night. Overall the hotel was comfortable. The staff did not seem to know how to answer simple questions such as wear I could get some more creamers for my coffee maker? The rooms were nice and clean. Loved that there was a free breakfast and the cocktails were fun. Just not a place to be having cocktails and kids running around the same environment. The lounge people share the same restrooms as the kids playing. Thought that was unsafe.
