Very plesant stayVery nice hotel good location exceptionly clean and the hosts were very friendly would certainly reconmend this hotel. only slight problem with on site parking it was limited, but could park on the road..

Our short stayWe stayed only one night but could not have been made more welcome by the friendly and engaging staff. Hotel and room spotlessly clean. Breakfast excellent, especially the porridge! Hotel is very well situated - near to North Bay, yet quiet and peacful. We felt very much at home.

High Standard of AccommodationVery pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms are very clean and the staff are really friendly. The breakfast was great and they even cooked the bacon crispy for me as per my request! The hotel is only a couple of minutes drive right to the centre of Scarborough. If you are fussy then you will find this hotel well worth a visit.

Lysander Hotel, ScarboroughThe owners were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful (I arrived quite late in the evening and the owners helped me arrange dinner and then personally drove me to the restaurant and then offered to pick me up from the restaurant if I became stranded). There were a number of really useful things which other hotels do not always think about - a shower cap for the ladies, hot chocolate in the room (as not everyone wishes to drink tea or coffee late at night).I am really struggling to find something bad to say about this hotel.

Very Comfortable HotelI think this is probably the cleaness hotel I have even stayed in - and I stay in a lot of hotels! Everything from the room to the reception rooms were of a high standard. The owner was efficient and friendly without being intrusive - he even organised an early breakfast for me.I shall definately be returning here on my next business trip.
