The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, the rooms were very clean and comfortable even though a little on the small side. The breakfasts were very good and it seemed individual appetites / likes & dislikes were catered for. All in all, a nice plce to stay and would return.

had a short break and this bed and breakfast was just the right place to stay and couldnt find any faults,room was clean,comfortable and everything you need is there.breakfast was lovely and enough to keep you full for the day.the owners were very friendly and welcoming would stay here again.thanks!

1st time not the lastMe and my wife Christine spent our 3rd wedding anniversary at the Lyness also it was the 1st time either of us had been to Scarborough we will be going back there again hopefully to the same hotel friendly,clean and comfy and recommended to anyone

I'll be back!!Very friendly and helpful proprietors, David and Val. Small welcoming B & B. Comfortable and cosy single room, Fantastic breakfast!!! Excellent value for money. Close to Peasholme Park and North Bay, Ideal base location to explore local area from. Lots of information leaflets in reception to help plan your day out. Easy to park car and parking discs available FOC from B & B. I will definately stay here again at some point in the future.

Lyness Guest House - best nights sleep this yearWe received a warm welcome before being shown to our room. The room was basic but exceptionally clean and most importantly very quiet. The bed was so comfy and I slept for 8 hours which is unheard of. The full english was delicious, lovely and fresh.I would definately stay here again as it was excellent quality and good value for money.
