Overall, the experience was great. We only had a minor issue when checking in. The system was donw, so they could not program the room keys and wanted us to wait in the lobby, but after suggesting that they let us in with a master key, the staff was gracious in accomodating us.

the only thing was that when we checked out they tried saying we had not paid yet but when really we did by paying orbitz. we got it strighten out.

It was a nice stay - the pool was too cold for our 4 year old to swim comfortably and the first night the hot tub was too cold to enjoy as well(and too dirty) - by the next afternoon the hot tub was cleaned up and warm (not hot)enough for kids to swim in comfortably - because of special events (a wedding and a convention) there were plenty of other kids our 4 year old to play and swim with, making a pleasant trip for all of us.

It looked like something from a magazine when you walked it to the lobby. The hotel was picture perfect inside and out. The pool area was just like a picture with fountains in the water.

Stayed 10 days and the hotel staff was exceptional throughout the stay, as they assisted with several special arrangements/accomodations that needed to be made. Only negative comment, was the street noise. Would highly recommend a higher room, as our second floor room had constant noise over the weekend.

Good food, good bar, nice pool, good view of city from balcony. The room was clean and modern with a nice balcony view of the city. Very comfortable bed with nice large bathroom. There is a nice large pool and a nice bar. The restaraunt buffet for breakfast was a little high priced, but the food was very good. Good central location in the city. Overall the staff spoke some english and was very nice.

It was clean and felt comfortable. Staff mostely friendly and willing to help. Not all the staff spoke English very well, but that was expected. Very clean, nice rooms, nice restaurante and the staff was friendly. The pool was beautiful. Very nice hotel for the price.

Our experience at Hotel Lucerna was absolutely wonderful. The chauffer was great, (i cannot remember his name though)the food was great, maid service was great, front desk service was great, everything was great about this hotel, no complaints!

The breakfast buffet was good (continental). Amenities were not easily available. Because I was there for a funeral. My mind was not focused and would not be able to write an adequate review. The hotel served its purpose.

I chose the Hotel Lucerna because I had paid similar price for a great hotel in Juarez. I thought the quality would be a lot better. However, I was disappointed. When I walked into the room, it was clean, but the fixtures and decor were outdated. The bathroom wallpaper was peeling. The toilet was not working properly. The lighting in the vanity area was very low. On the positive note, the staff was very friendly and the housekeeping staff was on point. The location was also pretty good with restaurants nearby.
