GoodGoodthe hotel had taken off the money from the card even though when booking it wasstated that the payment would be made at the hotel. not a big deal.

No telephone or save in room. No proper locks on windows and the lock on the door didn't seem very safe to me. Location was ok but there are lots of hotels nearer the centre for the same price. The real killer was the TV had one station working ! No pay TV. Pratically no TV. On the other side staff in reception were pleasant and their was a pub out the back that was showing the footie. Won't go back to be honest.

the hotel is very close to the city centre, good location but surrounded by pubsvery basic, my room wasn't really cleaned over the 3 days but over all it is was ok value for money especially with good location.

excellent, clean, friendly budget hotel.the hotel is excellent for the money. I had a large, en-suite twin for £49. Breakfast is always included in the price . Good location - 2 min to lime st station. Stored our bags free of charge.

very professionel and organisedAt first I was given a very tiny room, so I called the reception and explained to them that though I had paid £35 for that night i was expecting to get a room worth £75 cause I got an offer off laterooms.com. Well they responded swiftly and offered me their best room.The rooms each have got a little map of the floor on which each room is found and thats how i could tell my room was the best. sizewise and appearance, It was really all i expected and wanted except no bath tub.The next morning we were served proper breakfast - i could have given them a tip but i was totally broke - sorryAll in all it was excellent service plus they got a security guard/s and surveillance 24/7. what else could one ask for.

The room was clean and well heated. Parking is close to the hotel and secure. City centre within 4 minutes walk.

Hotel in general was "ok". Reception / Bar area is deceptive of the rest of the hotel. Room was adequate, service was friendly. Althought we didnt use it, the hotel bar is open all hours. There is an additional public bar downstairs which could seriously do with a lick of paint and brightening up. Still had broken glass etc from some previous night i expect. Breakfast is of a kind of "continental" experience with bread for toasting, some cereal, some fruit juice and some yoghurt. Not ideal if you spent a night on the town like we did. Will probably find somewhere else next time.

Reception was pleasent and tidy, lift was dirty and vandalised, room extremely basic and poor. Hotel toilets very poor and broken. No restaurant. Breakfast was at best basic with stale bread on offer!!! I shall jot be going back!!! Worst I have experineced for many years

I thought the room was quite dirty in some places and look a bit dated. But for the price it was okay and the location within the city centre was excellent.

I would definately reccommend this hotel to anyone, staffs are friendly and the proximity to the heart of the city centre is excellent, with Lime Street Train Station just about 2 mins. walk

i didnt thik this hotel was value for money at all, i did think the staff where very friendly and helpful. But as far as the hotel itsself i thought it was poor, the rooms where not very clean the noise coming from the other guests was terrible and i thought for the price we paid it was very poor and i would not se it again

It was a girlie weekend so we had a great time, but wouldn't want to stay there with a partnerWe expected a cooked breakfast and it was continental, if you could call it that. The staff were nice and the room wasclean the bar area wasn't very clean and at breakfast the tables weren't cleared, so you just had to sit around a lot ofdirty dishes!

great location,friendly staff,cheap booze in bar,rooms were small but nice and excellent value for money /would diffinetely stay again if i was away with lads but maybe not with my wife and kids not very family orientated.didnt get to taste the breakie finished at ten so cant comment had a sandwhich though and was ok.

Pretty good, but a view points of interest: Firstly the single room i stayed in had no door to the bathroom, and was facing towards the door, which is slightly uncomfortable. Secondly, the included breakfast had very little choice, and wasn't particularly nice.

All was fine, and customer service very gentle. The only point was that we were quite irritated by a \"not too polite waitress\" in breakfast room who abruptly cleaned the tables as we just took our meals !!!...they just could ask the client before.
