Short stay at Lord MilnerVery nice, clean room. Nice quiet street only 5 mins walk from Victoria station. Excellent bed and friendly staff. This is not a full service hotel but as long as you know that before you stay you will not be disappointed.

Excellent LocationMore of a guest house than hotel. Brilliant location, excellent bathroom, the beds were really comfortable. I chose a larger room to give us more space which was excellent. Late rooms booking made it a reasonable price, though, if I had paid the full price I would have been a little disappointed with the furnishings of the room . All in all a good find.

Quality of roomThe room allocated was not the room selected at the point of booking. The room would have also benefited from a mirror, the only mirror was in the bathroom which made it difficult if you wanted to use the hairdryer! I wasn't aware of the lack of resturant facilities so if I was to recommend this hotel to a friend then would make them aware of the lack of on site facilities. The location was good and the reception staff friendly and helpful.

Awesome!Everything was spot on. Room was beautiful & spotless, ladies on reception bent over backwards to help. Arrived early and room not quite ready, went for a wander and when got back cases had been taken up. It was perfect, all of it. Just a lovely, lovely place to stay and would definitely return without a second thought.

The hotel is centrally located with easy access to mainline and tube stations. The room itself was very clean and beautifully presented - we even got the four poster bed we requested. Bottled water is provided in the rooms free of charge which is a must in the hot weather. The staff were very helpful and polite.

Lord Milmer set in a beautiful, quiet area of LondonMy boyfriend and I have just returned from a short trip to London and stayed at the Lord Milner. The hotel is situated a short walk from Victoria train station, yet is situated within a very tranquil area of London. We were greeted by 2 members of staff on arrival who couldn't do enough to help and were very friendly. The room was small but perfectly formed. Whilst the views from our window were over a car park, the hotel itself was lovely. Would definitely return!

Visit to Lord MailnerHotel very easy to find - about 3 mins walk from Victoria station. Staff friendly and helpful. Would use again.

Lord MilnerNice hotel and excellent service on arrival. The smallest room is advertised as a single but is big enough for 2 - as long as you don't spend too much time in the room! Very helpful staff and nice quiet location -

Lord MilnerNice enough room but painfully thin curtains meant no sleep beyond 5am. Very restricted choice of TV channels and no access to music - nowhere to plug in MP3/ipod, not even a radio channel via digital TV which was very disappointing. Difficult to create any kind of mood or atmosphere. The bathroom was tiny and there was nowhere to leave toiletries, not even a vanity unit in the bedroom with a mirror which meant I was continually going back and forward to the bathroom with different toiletries and cosmetics. The fridge didn't chill our champagne and there was no ice. The best thing about the Lord Milner is the breakfast. The room was clean and the bed comfortable but given the lack of extras which provide comfort and make a stay special - we would have been better off staying somewhere else. Hideously over-priced for what we got.

Personal touch in an impersonal cityLovely room - each of the dozen rooms here has its own name and style. We stayed in the cheaper/smaller executive rather than the deluxe.Price wise this was a splurge at the upper end of our usual budget, made possible by reduced sunday rate £115 for the room (£57 pppn)Lovely receptionist - showed us to our room at provided info on shopping and directions/travel recommendations.

very pleasant experience overallstayed in Club Room. only complaint about room is that it's a bit intrusive during the day with the curtains open to let natural light in as the room is directly below street level and there is a constant passing of people. not a noise thing, just not used to it i guess. the staff was very courteous and went beyond the call of duty to try to solve my online boarding pass problem. in room wireless internet worked perfectly. i will definitely return to the lord milner.

Lovely and unique.Beautiful little hotel, if a little difficult to locate due to no signage outside or pictures of the exterior on the website.Had a lovely room that was clean and complimentary drinks were a beautiful touch. Bathroom was small but clean and the bed was dreamy, incredibly comfortable.Would definitely recommend and use again.

The staff could bot have been more helpfull. There is an excelent list to all floors. Breakfast served in our excellent bedroom made one reluctant to have a cooked breakfast because of the smell.Nice quiet part of town. Plenty of bars, quality eating places close vto hand.NCP car park within 5 minutes walk. 15% discount because we stayed at Lord Milner.Altogether excellent. Will certainly try to stay there if we go to London again. It certainly eases the pain that is London.

Boutique?Although this hotel attempts to achieve a boutique style this is somewhat undermined by the poor quality furnishings and somewhat 'tired' feel to the place. For example, the unit on which the tv was stood was heavily scratched and the carpet heavily marked. The location was great for me and reassuringly residential - low noise levels and a comfortable feeling of security as a single femaie traveller. Overall, I might stay at this hotel again but would look elsewhere first!
