Not worthedEvery time I went in and out of the hotel, I was forced to introduced myself yet I had a security card to open my door. Very annoying.In the morning, there was no cold water in the shower. somehow, I was lucky to have burning hot water and the pressure was so low that it was so difficult to stand under the shower. After deciding that I will have my shower, the water stopped 3 good times in the middle of the shower. I was obliged to use hot water from the sink (no cold water) to finish my shower. Horrible.!!!I have filled a review form at the hotel. I hope this get passed on.

For £45/night en-suite this is fineLocation is convenient, room tidy (but very small). Fine for short trips. Appreciated the free WiFi in the lobby. Not too noisy either.

En-suite room not available when I arrivedI had booked an en-suite single room at Lord Jim five days in advance. When I arrived I was told that there were no en-suite rooms available! I was offered a room with shared facilities for £10 less. The room (on the fourth floor) was tiny and the nearest toilet/bathroom was three floors below!!! I reluctantly accepted as it was 9 o'clock at night and I didn't want to try and find somewhere else. Once I'd paid, it turned out the television wasn't working properly - but I managed to sort out the aerial cable which wasn't connected! Having said that, the room was clean and quiet and I slept well. However, the experience means I won't be booking there again!

Well Done the Lord JimFriendly welcoming and very clean. My room was tiny at the top of the hotel but it was perfect, walm and quiet. I'm only sorry that I hadto leave early and missed breakfast.

Friendly staffThe hotel staff very friendly, room quite small but adequate. It was quite noisy traffic and some guests being very inconsiderate having loud conversaions and 3.00am. Service at breakfast very good. We would stay again and would request a quieter room.

Basic but pleasant, as reflected in price. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean, close to tubes, busses and amenities.

I felt really safe, secure and well looked after.The staff are all friendly and behave appropriatly. My room was clean and comfortable. Albeit a little small. The heating worked properly (I could turn it up and down). The room was quiete and I slept very well for a lite sleeper.I dropped my bags off at 8 in the morning because I had travelled up early. This was no problem. The friendly and welcoming receptionist then asked me if I would like to stay and have coffee and breakfast. I was cold, hungry and tired so this was one free offer I was truly grateful for.I want to stay at this hotel again!

From reading the other reveiws I had expected the world's smallest hotel room, however I was pleasently surprised. I booked a single en-suite room and was given a twin en-suite so there was room to move about. Everything worked and the bed was comfortable. I would recommend ear plugs though. Breakfast was enough to set you up for the day and the hotel was ideally located on the district line. For £29 it was perfect!

I have paid 29 pounds for a single room + breakfast, and I think this is a fair price for what you get.Tiny single room (I invite laterooms to show some pictures of my room nr. 10 with the tiny bathroom on the photo section on the internet site). The room was definitely clean, I would simply recommend to change the matress.Breakfast area very clean and nice, breakfast of average quality and acceptable if I keep the 29 pounds in mind.I would recommend some smiles from the waitresses and from the people at the reception, that would really make a difference!I would definitely recommend this hotel to a group of friends, whose main concern is to save money and sleep in a clean hotel.I hope my feedback will help the hotel to improve, and I am happy to say I will book again at the Lord Jim.

Very functional and unexpectantly spacious. Very quiet and beds were in good condition. I was very impressed and almost suspicious at how low the price was given the standard. The en-suite bathroom was very clean and the bedroom was also immaculate. Excellent value for money and customer service was quick and efficient - the flexible sign in times were very helpful.

The hotel was excellent value for money at just £30 for the night. The room was very small but all I needed was somewhere to sleep. It was basic but served it's purpose excellently and it was blissfully quiet so I had a really good night's sleep.

This hotel is hardly the Hilton, but is ideal if you can get it at a cheap rate like I did from laterooms.com, as it is very central. I would have been very dissapointed if I had paid the full room rate. Breakfast was included in the price, which added to the value, although I did not sample this. I would definately stay there again at the significantly reduced rates that are avilable through this site.

Hotel in very good location as bang next to the earls court tube station, but the single room was tiny, my airing cupboard at home is bigger!! But nice and clean and the lounge was good with free wifi.
