Disapointing breakfastThe breakfast is a bit of a let down. I like a good breakfast to start the day so dont think I will go back in a hurry.

The location of the hotel is excellent, with easy access to transport, shops, pubs, post office, etc. The room was a reasonable size and the plumbing fittings were modern and worked well. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The shared lounge with TV, pay-for-use internet access and coffee making is a good feature.

I'm not sure of the exact criteria for 3*, but I don't think it's this. I could touch both walls of my room at the same time (and I'm only 5' tall), the bed springs twang every time you sit on the bed - suffice to say, it's a little uncomfortable! The previous occupant's clothes were still in the wardrobe, and there was a force nine gale through the window beside the bed. The bedside light didn't work, so hadn't been checked during cleaning. One towel per day, and that was borrowed from the hotel next door as it had the hotel's name on it (every girl knows you need two PLUS one for the floor). Also, the heating didn't work in my room - at all - so it was freezing. On the plus side, it was nice and close to where I wanted to be.

The Hotel was easy to find. Rooms adequately clean. NB Mono block drain plugs should be removed and cleaned of black silt & disinfected. Net curtains & drapes shld be washed.

The gentleman in reception did not make ay eye contact when I was checking in, and appeared to be annoyed when I asked for a receipt. He hardly said 2 words to me and when i checked out, the same gentleman didn't even acknowledge me even when I said goodbye and thank you. Not very happy at all...

Basic room, but clean and adequate, even if small (single). Central for local restaurants / places to eat, handy for the underground. Good rate, and probably about right for the facilities. Tea-making facilities in lounge rather than in room - a little inconvenient, but adequate.

The room was too small and the toilet did not function properly. I personally felt quite claustophobic in the room. Internet access was available if you have a laptop with WiFi , however, the connection was extremely slow if not useless. Breakfast was available, however, we did not help ourselves based on other negative reviews. The check-in process was quite nice and the people were helpful . One positive thing about the hotel is the location. It is close to the Underground and walking distance to many shopping areas and great restaurants.

The Hotel was very near to Earls Court Tube Station which was a good point. The hotel decor is a little tired. My room was poor and the shower room needed a referb. However the sheets and towels were clean and the bed O.K. The breakfast was O.K. but I would have liked an English one for the money. Servce at breakfast was very much 'take it or leave it'. No' good mornings' or 'would you like toast'

I paid £52 which was fine for a room in London. Very close to tube . Breakfast was not great but not expected at that cost.
