GReat for families - they think of everything. Food and service was good. Laid back atmosphere away from downtown.

Beautiful atmosphere and surroundings A little far from everything The hotel was beautiful, romantic and very well appointed in the morrocan theme. The grounds and common areas were awesome and the room very comfortable. The staff were top notch and aimed to please at every turn. We would definitely stay again...

Hotel cleanliness has gone downhill. Woke up to multiple dead cockroaches on the floor of our room 2 nights in a row. Front desk sent housekeeping to clean up, however customer service representative behaved as though it wasn't a big deal.

We loved the remote location, the family friendliness, and the cleanliness. We also loved the pool! I wished there were more options for breakfast. The hotel is beautiful! We especially loved the atrium feel of the lobby and the way we were welcomed upon arrival. They even gave my daughter two free downloads for her I-Pod! The private beach and pool area were fabulous. It is really an oasis in the middle of the desert!

My husband and I were hoping for a quiet weekend getaway. We specifically didn't choose the Strip because we didn't want parties or loud music. What we got instead was a kindergarten nightmare. Kids all over: running, screaming, crying. We were trying to enjoy a nightcap at the hotel lounge at 11 pm and there were small children (3-5 yrs old) in the bar, making forts out of the cushions! I do realize it was a holiday, but the hotel styled itself as a tranquil getaway with lounging near the pool, fountains, and fireplaces. It's not, as so many other reviewers have claimed, "a place to relax and enjoy nature." It's a place for families to hang out with other families and let their kids run wild. Good things: the room was quiet (thankfully), clean, and they have good in-room coffee. The restaurant was excellent and the staff was courteous and prompt. Bad things: out of control children. The hotel really needs to make it clear that this is a place for families and not for couples trying to have a relaxing weekend.

Great Location! Away from the crazy Vegas strip but only a 20 minute drive. About 30 minutes to the Hoover Dam. Secluded and relaxing and great restaurants nearby. It costs around $50 to get there from the airport so it's best to just rent a car! Unfortunately the hotel staff was VERY RUDE and NOT HELPFUL at all. Staff at the front desk was the worst. She said she would check on some tickets for a show and she NEVER did. Then at checkout they tacked on an extra upgrade fee when we never agreed to it and then were degrading in explaining how I must have agreed to it! Luckily with internet we didn't have to rely on them for help on getting tickets to shows in Vegas or directions to other sites.

While on the phone, my husband requested a late check out and the staff told him that there was no way they could accommodate us. My husband and I took at least another 30 minutes out of our day to go get things squared away. While at the desk, we explained our experience to a manager and asked for a late check out. She immediately stated that this would not be a problem and explained that she didn't know why we were denied on the phone. After a day in the sun fishing, my husband and I went back to our room for a relaxing nap before we made the trip home. On two separate occasions, house keeping knocked on our door to find out when we were checking out. My husband was dead asleep during both disruptions. All I can say is that it was the worst experience we have had on vacation.

This was such a classy place on the Lake...so many others near Lake Mead are second rate....and that we could bring our dog with us in the hotel on a leash was so great.... We spent most of the days on the boat, but were delighted when we returned...the restaruants even served us late to accommodate us...All in all, the best.

Great family getaway with plenty to do on the resort and in the area. $22 resort fee wasn't included in the price. Overall I like the resort, but the additional $22 resort fee should have been included in the price. I didn't know about this fee until I registered.

We have been staying in this hotel for past 7 years. It's a great place for family vacation if you don't mind staying away from the Vegas strip and gambling (it's 30 mins to drive to the strip). You can relax and enjoy the sun at the beach or one of two swimming pools. Kids will especially enjoy the water slide.

The surprise of a resort fee of $22 a day. That should be told up front.

Second time to this resort and several of the staff at the resort and a restaurant in the village nearby remember us from 9 months ago. Everyone is very friendly and they provide excellent service.

Free internet, beds were good. $22 resort fee, no direct road to strip. This hotel is in a quiet area, very relaxing, nice pools and amenities, there is a $22 resort fee daily, free WiFi, parking is inclusive with the fee.

Love going to Vegas to shop but hate the smoke filled casinos.... even if just passing through to get to ur room. $300++ rooms on the strip too much!!! We needed a place to relax and chill with my Pom in tow. Love Lake las Vegas area, felt like a movie star at this fabulous resort. They love pets! It was great. Our room opened up to a path that lead to the pet area. Unlike some places, the pet area was well maintained. We requested a microwave... The staff went above and beyong getting one to us ASAP. It was far from the strip just the way i like it, but close enough to do some power shopping!

I loved the layout of the hotel and the beach. I did not like that they had closed off one of the pools for a private event but still charged a resort fee of $22.00.

eat, walking around, swim, boating, resting. I booked another night but nobody came to clean the room after the first night. The food is not very good but the service is great. They need to have seafood in the menu or buffet.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The added $22 per day for resort use that I did not know about. The place was amazing. The staff was courteous and helpful. It was super clean. It was beautiful, elegant, and romantic. The decor was top notch.
