The location was magnificent for all we wanted to see in downtown Philly. The room was cozy and just like home! The staff was remarkably friendly and so helpful!

Beautiful architecture, friendly staff, quick elevators - seemed bustling (good thing). Iron/ironing board werenot great andwindows were dirty (minor things). Great location in Center City offered great views at the higher floors. Free newspaper, Keurig coffee maker and nice amenities made it an amazing value for the Priceline price. The historic building itself was beautiful and the location near the Reading Terminal, Broad Street and 13th Street made it perfect.

Beautiful hotel, great customer service. Front desk gave us choice of river or city view. We chose the city view which was spectacular at night! The concierge was helpful and friendly. Only thing that may be a negative for some people is that it's not located right in the center of the historical area, but about a 10-12 minute walk from it.

The only reason why this hotel is a pet-friendly is the fact that it lets pets stay. I cannot believe that Loews made it to top #5 in City search's most pet friendly hotels in Philadelphia. The main reason why Loews is not pet-friendly is its location. There is no grass or even a small area with mulch within 6 blocks of the hotel for dogs who are not wee-wee pad trained! My dog never made it to the grass area 8 blocks away, and she peed and pooped on her way there on the concrete floor every single day. A horrible experience. If the hotel had designated a small area for dogs to take care of their business, then it would've kept the vicinity of the hotel far more sanitary.

The hotel itself was great...great people and one of the best Philly Cheesesteaks I have ever had (room-service). The bar area was cool with a lot of interesting people. However, the wireless internet should be free with the room. I travel to Philly almost every month and need to stay at a hotel with free wireless. Also, not at all the fault of the hotel, but the area surrounding the hotel needs to be cleaned up. Don't venture out alone after 10pm...not pleasant at all. Besides those two things...one great hotel...would stay there again.

I've stayed at four major downtown Philly hotels, but this place is the nicest. Very attractive lobby and friendly staff. It's central to everything, plus there are plenty of restaurants and coffee places in the immediate area. The neighborhood is really safe and right near City Hall. On my last visit I was able to get a room on a high floor with a wonderful view of the city. The bed was excellent and the room was clean. I know this because I check the floor, sheets, etc with a flashlight. I was there on business, so I was happy to have high speed internet and a safe big enough to fit a 17" laptop. It's not the cheapest place in town, but I would come here all time if the budget allowed. They even gave me a late checkout (2pm) on a Sunday afternoon gratis. Some places charge you for this.

The Loews was in a perfect location. Right on Market Street, 2 blocks over from Reading Market and close to both shopping and the historic old town. The staff at reception was very inviting and accomodating as well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is considering visiting Philly.

Large rooms. This is a good place to stay for exploring Philly. It is central to everything important; and the cab rides to everywhere else are manageable. Lots of things happening in Center City. One can run in and out of the hotel with minimum fuss and bother.

I was worried when I booked my flight that I would have to drag my bags around before I could check into my hotel. When I arrived at the hotel to ask if they could check my bags I was surprised to find that my room was in fact ready to go! We even got to choose if we wanted to stay on a pet friendly floor (no thanks!). We were very pleased with this room. It was nice and clean, with a great view of the convention center. One snag we ran into though...we couldn't find the hair dryer! Necessary for a girls weekend outing! A quick call downstairs to the concierge assured us that someone would run a hair dryer up. Unfortunately no one came that night and we had to make another call the next morning...which was promptly taken care of. I would recommend this hotel to my friends. The staff there was extremely pleasant and welcoming. They really understood what customer service means!

On this trip, I was trying to impress my teenagers that Philadelphia is a vibrant & stylish city, and staying at this hotel partly accomplished the mission. Right on Market St across from Hard Rock Cafe & 1 block to Reading Terminal Market for breakfast. Phllly Phlash busstop right at the front door. Solefood restaurant is right in the lobby. Walk to many restaurants, but not the busiest part of Center City. Staff got a little backed up for the Memorial Day weekend rush: long checkout line, valet parking was too busy to even answer the phone. Neat architecture. Great view of Philly from our room on 22nd floor.

I stayed at the Loews hotel in Philadelphia PA. It was a relaxing experience, the hotel staff is very friendly and the layout is beautiful. The food wasn't very good especially for the price they ask for but, you can always find somewhere else to eat. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, the bathrooms are lovely and the view is wonderful. I also enjoyed the heated pool and spa area it was very delightful. The location was very good, It's like you are in the center of everything that Philadelphia has to offer. I had a nice time at the Loews hotel, I just didn't like the food.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was large and away from the elevators (as I requested) and the bedding was fabulous! The desk/dresser furniture was a bit old but I wouldn't say that made a difference either way. I don't get these people who complain about the cost of parking. You bring a car into any city hotel and you're going to pay for parking. I guess the only thing I wished different was the cost of in-room internet, but I have an aircard so I didn't have to pay for it.

Everything was terrific except for the car park. They lost my car and I had to wait an hour before they found it. I was late to an appointment I was suppose to be. The room and inside the hotel was fanastic.

We booked our stay about about 2 weeks prior. "King Bed romm with Spectacular" view. We on the 22nd floor, and our room was IN the elevator hall. Turned out not to be much of a noise problem after all, but the room was teeny!! Not even a closet, no tub, barely anywhere to put down a toothbrush yet alone a makeup bag. The lighting in the room and the bathroom was very low....but this is not the first time I have seen this in a hotel. The bed was nice, great pillows and nice sheets. RoomService was pretty good with cost and delivery time. Over all our stay was fine. Wouldn't really say any better or worse than that..
