Great getaway. First class service. Room Service food wasn't that great. Food can be costly too, but overall a great place to be! Would definitely go back again!

Loews south beach is total eye candy! Structurally appealing, the grounds/pool area is attractive. Good food. The pool area is far too crowded - my lounge chair was touching a stranger's chair. Could not enjoy pool. Too many kids. As a young adult couple, my husband and I felt like the hotel was booked to the gills and we could not spread out in sunny areas around the pool. The bar staff was nice; the food was excellent, but very expensive. We had noisy construction under our room at St. Moritz and the front desk staff was happy to move us to another room. Due to the crowded nature of this hotel, we really didn't feel as though we fully relaxed during our six day stay.

My girlfriend and I spent 3 days at the Loews Miami Beach , it was Fantastic. The food seems expensive, However , the portions are huge . We had no problem sharing the salads at the pool. Pool attendents were very helpful as were the rest of the staff. Some must goes in south beach...THe Front Posch for breakfast, Samba Sushi for lunch or dinner both within walking distance of the hotel . Overall , Our experience was exceptional. Bklyn , NY

We enjoyed our stay very much. The pool was great as well as the proximty to the ocean. The clean-up of the room from housekeeping was very late in the afternoon, which was an inconvience. I will definately stay at the hotel again and would reccomend it to friends.

The hotel was gorgeous, and made our stay very enjoyable in all aspects. We are a family of six with 4 kids, 2 of them aged 5 and 2. We had a great wiew of the ocean from our room, and the kids enjoyed the beach and the swimming pool. We will definitely come back again.

We stayed at the Loews Hotel on Miami South Beach for 7 nights Feb. 1-18, 2009. The hotel was everything I thougt it would be. From the front dest to the restaurants to the pool everyone was very friendly and helpful. Our room was just your average room but nice. We had a ocean view and it was fine. We loved laying by the pool everyday but be prepared to go to the pool early and save a chair because by 10am all the chairs in the sun are gone. The beach was great but it does cost $10 a day to rent a chair. It's nice though as you get wait service for drinks and food from the hotel if you rent a chair. Here's the only bad part about the whole stay. The cost of food and beverages are through the roof!! We are used to resort prices and expect them but when a cheese burger by the pool with out a drink is $18 that is a bit overboard. A rum runner drink by the pool was $20! Be careful because there is an automatic 18% gratuity added to everything. You also tip the pool guy for putting your towel down for you. We did eat a few places on South Beach but honestly everything was very expensive. I loved it but probably won't go back as it simply cost a fortune to eat and drink. I had two 14 year old boys with me and they are hungry all the time. Bring your credit card!!

For the money I paid for the small room the Ritz Carlton would have been better. Make sure that you check out the room before you pay $480.00 and get a $130 per night surprise.

On the positive side the Lowes pool are and front courtyard were exceptionally beautiful...but the rooms looked like Hampton or Holiday Inns... They were very unattractive with ceiling borders and curtain that looked like they were circus decor. The bathroom was horrible as well. They were tiny if you were standing at the sink you could not close the bathroom door and the bathtub grout was dirty as was the tub... They did not clean our room on the 2nd day till 4 o'clock...said they had till six... To Hotel does not provide any chairs for the beach or any umbrellas...they will either make a deal for you with the vendors on the beach or you can go it alone. Add another $15 a day...really not what I have experienced at other beach resorts. Lastly we asked the concierge about restaurants. The few he steered us to be costly and not good. We asked about an Indian restaurant that looked good that we passed called Guru. He said he would go to another Indian restaurant. We were tired and decided to walk to Guru. The food was fabulous and the best price we in South Beach. The food was excellent and the presentation even better. So much for the concierge recommendations take along a Zagat guide

The hotel had a beautiful lobby and great pool, wonderful access to the beach. Unfortunately the weekend we chose to stay at the Lowes was hip hop weekend. I felt the Lowes did not plan accordingly for example no taxi service available and had to walk to dinner reservations. I felt other hotels, catered more to those NOT with the hip hop crowd and would have preferred to stay there. My suggestion would be DO NOT travel to South Beach during Memorial Day weekend due to Urban Week. The Latin flare is just so diminished by those that are their that week.

Location, Cleanliness, security. Too pricey, food and drinks at pool was way too expensive, $30.00/day to park car. While this place was nice, we have stayed at much nicer resort style places like in Hawaii and never paid $ 500.00 plus per night like we paid here. This is too expensive for what you get. They hand cuff you with the pool drinks and food, $50.00 for a cheeseburger, hotdog, 2 cokes and lemonade, with no free refills.

The hotel is beautiful. The landscaping, the pool, the views; all breathtaking. The staff is awesome, they tend to every detail. They are very friendly. I would definatley stay at this hotel again. Be prepared, the food, drinks and others are very expensive as well. The location is perfect. The beach is awesome! The art deco destrict is really neat to visit. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud, the best night of sleep in a long time!

The Loews Miami Beach hotel was very relaxing. I went there with a couple of my friends to celebrate my birthday and we had an absolute great time. The pool side service was terrific. I really felts as though I was being spoiled with all of the refreshments and sample food and beverages that they were bringing out and to top it off the cold cloth was right on time. They bring out cold cloths so that you can put them on your head to cool off from the heat. If you have kids they also play movies for them by the pool when I was there they played shark tail. Excellent trip.

To start the service at this hotel is out of this world. Everyone from the person who greets your taxi to the maid are excellent. Everyone is very helpful and if you look even a little lost or confused they help you and go above and beyond. The location of this hotel is very convient as well. You are about 1 block away from Ocean Drive and a block away from Lincoln ave which has shopping and resturants galore! The room was cleaned daily and was very comfortable.

The hotel is in a great location and has lots of amenities. The only thing that was not good was the dinning options. They charge for breakfast and it is in my opion very expensive. They offer a $25 breakfast buffet per person or a very expensive continental breakfast, for what they charge per day they should include at least a continental breakfast.

This a a beautiful Hotel with excellent staff. The hotel food was very expensive. I have never stayed at a hotel where there is a $10 a day charge for the use of the fitness center. I would have rather been charged a extra $10 on my hotel room than to think I have to pay an extra $10 just to use the facility. General my work outs are no more that 60 to 90 minutes, so needless to say I thought this was expensive and I did not use the facility. I was very disappointed.

"This is the fourth Loews hotel we've stayed at and are looking forward to visiting the others. Service is great - staff is so friendly and welcoming even if you're not famous. Loved the pool. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. There is visible security in and around the hotel which gives great piece of mind. We loved the little extras like 'lemonade in the lobby' . frozen grapes at the pool, and movie night around the pool complete with popcorn and popsicles. Would definitely stay again if we're in Miami."

"This hotel is tops in personal service! Just mention the slightest annoyance to a staff member and they have 30 staffers there to make sure the problem is resolved-even if it has nothing to do with the hotel. All you have to do is pick up the phone and you feel like you have personal servants at your disposal. The only problem is the in house dinning. The food is WAY over priced at their restraunt Prestins. Not even that good of food. But if you eat elsewhere, this place is the place to go to be treated like a king!"

"Went with a group of 200 people and staff handled everything brilliantly. One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Great view on private balcony, smoothies were irresistable, and heated pool open 24 hours. Multiple bars and restuarants to choose from.Loved private beach area.Best location in SoBe.Expensive but the incredible luxury is worth it."

We stayed there for a week near Christmas to get warm. This hotel is the creme de la creme of all the hotels there. It is well worth the money. They pamper you so much. I loved sitting out by the pool, getting out going to the hot tub, sitting in the cabanas by the hot tub when I was hot. Ordering a tropical drink by the pool and just relaxing. This hotel is centrally located to all the hot spots. Even the scenery here was magnificent. Loved the trip.
