The room looked nicer in the photos than in person. There was advertized an indoor/outdoor pool, but upon arrival there was only an outdoor pool that was not very warm. The hot tubs were small but were actually heated. They did not keep up on having towels available at the pool and more than once I had to go up to the front desk to get some. (not fun when you are wet and cold) We had to go down to the front desk to get an ice bucket and cups where a normal hotel would have it in the room. Half of the channels they said they had were not available. We stayed two nights and the room service was horrible. They did not clean off the table or vacuum the floor. And definatly take your own pillow, theirs are so flat. No resturant in the hotel so bring your own food.

It was located in a pretty area. The room was full of box elder bugs, the walls looked dingy, the carpet in the hall was dirty, no maid service, TV was small and no CD player. I have stayed at much better properties in the same area for near the same price. This looked like a newer facility from the outside but the inside halls and room areas were worn. It was also not as clean as I like. Carpets in halls were worn and dirty. Our room was full of bugs. We upgrade because the room we bought was tiny. All in all I was very unimpressed.

I thought the room was a pretty good deal for the price. We did however stay there during the off-season in July so it was cheaper. I probably would not have paid over * a night. The pool was nice and heated, but none of the jacuzzis worked. The fitness center's treadmills didn't work and the equipment was really old. They say there is continental breakfast but there wasn't. We would have come prepared to make something in our room, but we expected a good breakfast. They also show pictures of the lodge right on the lake shore but it's a good 2 miles from the lake. You can see it from the lodge and it is in a nice location away from a lot of people and noise. I was impressed with the room. We stayed in a studio room and the kitchen was very nice, large bathroom and 2 travel website(we thought that was fun) I recommend it in the summer....probably not a good deal for the winter prices.

We stayed in the condo on Hailstone Dr, it was very peaceful and clean. The Stillwater staff was helpful and informed me the resort has come under new management in the past month. This change was for the better of the resort. I enjoyed my two evenings and would return again if my plans bring me to the park City area. During winter this resort is a hidden gem due to it being less than a mile to the Deer Valley Gondola. During high season with appropriate bar and food staff this would be a good place to stay.

The full kitchen was great to have with our children. The parking was for full size cars not the best for Pickup trucks. The view from our room was beautiful and romantic. We could see the pool as well as the lake, it was great.

This was the most inattentive hotel staff I've ever seen. Filthy rooms, messed up reservation and a staff unwilling to help. Supposedly they offer a continental breakfast but be aware that means there is coffee - nothing else. And the coffee was bad. I was very disappointed that I'd paid good money for this place because I've had much better luck at cheaper hotels.

Close to skiing. Great room with the ablilty to cook a simple meal after a day on the slopes. We arrived very late at night and no problems - someone was there to give us great directions to their location during a snowstorm. The pool and hottubs were clean and available when we needed them. The ski shop had great service and made getting lift tickets ahead of time easy and cost effective.

The location is nice and quiet, close to Park City and other things to do. One of the clerks at the counter was not helpful and didn't care, when we had a couple issues with our room. The hotel is very beautiful and has a nice kitchen if you are planning on cooking. The hide-a-bed was terrible. There was a bar sticking up and our son was unable to sleep on it. The pool is outdoors, so in the off season would not be available. It is in a nice location.

The helpful hotel staff hooked us up with boating rentals and there is a great "on location" outdoor shop. Rooms were furnished nicely and clean. Lodge also has a cozy bar with a awesome lady bartender. Views, Views and more Views!!! Beautiful location with the lake AND the Deer Valley Ski Runs right there! Great hotel staff. *********Would stay here again**********

The location was right on the lake and it was quiet. Room was not what was represented at purchase. Not even fitted sheets on the bed. I was disappointed in the room. The amenities were dirty and some in disrepair. (Electrical wires in Jacuzzi)

I choose this hotel based on past reviews which I will not do again. The room was very small. The pool wasn't even open and when we went to the continental breakfast all that was left was a little apple juice and some small boxes of cold cereal. I would not stay here again.

Our room was dirty upon check in and the maid service never came the next morning. When this was brought to the front desk's attention we were told we'd have to wait at least an hour because they were short staffed. This was after 9pm on a Saturday evening. There were multiple lightbulbs burned out in our room, the lobby smelled of mold and/or mildew and children were riding their bicycles through the lobby. There were other guests who were allowed to play loud thumping music throughout the night until the early hours of the morning. *******the manager offered us a free stay in the future, we would not return even if they paid us to return***************************

At the last minute we decided on a ski trip to Deer Valley, and found this hotel on the web. We were totally stunned when we arrived and realized the hotel was less than a mile from the Deer Vally gondola, and had a full service sports store in the hotel. The staff was great in their assistance and recommendations with where to eat. They even had transportation to take us to dinner. We definitely recommend this hotel.

"What a fabulous experience! The bdrm was surprisingly small, but not uncomfortable. It was well decorated too. We upgraded to a 1 bdrm suite and were very impressed. There was an odd smell in the room when we entered, but not nasty. We soon forgot about it. The kitchen was very well stocked. There is a parking garage underneath. Perfect for the ski season! It's within minutes of Park City resorts, hiking, Olympic venues, shopping, and Heber City. Peaceful and beautiful! We're already planning to return."

"Stillwater has got to be the best kept secret in the Park City area. Full kitchens and patios in all the rooms, pool, hot tubs, gym, pool table, covered parking, cute bar/restaurant and right across the street from Deer Valley and the Jordanelle reservoir. I'll recommend to all my friends."
