I like the location of the hotel, especially close to several restaurants. I like the use of appliances, such as stove, coffemaker, toaster, refridgerator, dishwasher, and microwave.
Date of Stay:
March, 2009
Worn out and very dirty - door did not close, noisy tenants.
Date of Stay:
December, 2008
neglected property - simple upkeep ignored (cracked bathroom tile, saggy bed); sparse kitchenette - 2 dinner plates, 2 salad plates, 2 mugs, 2 tumblers - no bowls; TV channels incorrectly listed, both on TV and in their listing (The Weather Channel!); TV remote skipped every other channel; very noisy neighbors, honking cars. No one at counter during morning hours when most people checkout, no key drop, no bell. Just not enough good to make us want to stay there again.

The hotel is in a great location, lots of stores and restaurants around. However, the service is terrible. They do a sloppy job at cleaning the rooms, completely disgusting. I would recommend stopping at walmart across the street, if you decide to stay, and pick up a few cleaning supplies.

Attended a concert while I was there. Nothing was missing. Very nice place to stay.

It was cheap. It was very dirty. Few French fries on the floor, surfaces hadn't been wiped, floor was dirty, etc. There wasn't even soap. The girl at the desk was nice and moved me to another room that was definitely better, but still not good. The girl didn't seem surprised to hear the room was disgusting, so I'm guessing I'm not the first guest to have an issue with it. There also seemed to be a good number of somewhat rough looking folks around, not families or business people (in the legal sense). I wouldn't stay there again.

A good price for a clean room with a kitchenette. Many resturants and shopping outlets close by.

My two grand-children, ages 3 adn 6 and I barely slept. We were afraid to. It was obvious once we got to the hotel that this was a place where people live. The room spelled horrible.

not sure how to put it in words

Liked nothing at all. Felt unsafe, appeared to be transit people living there. Dirty, loud noises all night, walking up and down hallways all hours, room were not very clean, shower was stopped up. I am embarrassed to tell anyone that I even stayed.

Check in was organized and friendly. I reserved two rooms, mine was great the other had to be changed due to construction workers staying in. Rooms are a bit small, and there were no pots for cooking, but for the money a good by.

Hotel was filthy. My feet actuaqlly stuck to the bathroom floor while shaving. No cooking equipment. No coffee. Not even any soap in the shower. There isn't enough room here to tell all the things that happened during the nite. Very unsafe place.

Neighbors were noisy through the night. Room smelled of smoke. Not pleasant

I did like the kitchenette and homelike feel that the room had. Had a problem with the door but the maintenance did not take long to repair. The room had an unpleasant smell and had trouble with the door of the room the door had to be repaired so that me and my kids could stay warm.

It took me over 25 minutes to get checked in and there was only myself and one other person. The room was fairly run down as well. The carpet was stained and the appliances were sticky.

This hotel was located in great spot with all kinds of shopping and hotels, however it was not that clean. When I first walked in the room, there was a distinct musty odor and there were several flies swarming around. The dishes in the cabinet were not washed properly and were quite dirty. There was no dish liquid to wash them with. I had to call the front desk to ask for soap and kleenex for the bathroom and also to spray air freshener. Bathroom was clean as was the floors, but furniture and fixtures were all very old and needed updating badly. I would stay again, but only if I there were no other place available.

The personnel was very friendly; after reading comments on the web I was very concern about staying there; everything was wonderful the hotel was safe. That the bed too close to the wall. Very nice place to stay, personnel nice, friendly and polite. Quickly address my concerns about the low ratings I found on the internet which turned out not to be true at all. The other guess were quite and stayed to themself, housekeeping was very friendly as well. Located near a lot of shopping which I enjoyed.

They gave you free munchies and cookies on the weekends but no room service on Fri, Sat or Sun. They did bring up clean towels. Great place for the price, and location was good. About 45 min. from martinsville , VA NASCAR track, nice drive!

We like a pool and/ or a spa

Nothing. Dirty hotel. Rooms with no insulation. You hear everything. TV in room is small 14 inch. Furniture was uncomfortable. I will never stay at this hotel again.
