Location Nearest airport: Glasgow International Airport Nearest train station: Oban - 25km Nearest bus station: Oban - 25km Directions: From the M8 West to junction 30, then north on the A82 towards Tarbet. At Tarbet take the A83 and follow the signs for Inveraray and Lochgilphead. At Lochgilphead, take the Oban road (A816). The hotel is at Arduaine, 18 miles to the North and is clearly signposted. From Edinburgh, head North-West to Stirling on the M9 to junction 10. Continue on the A84 to Tyndrum and Oban on the A85. In Oban take the A816. The Loch Melfort Hotel is 19 miles south of Oban on the A816.

What are your breakfast options?: Breakfast is £13.95 starts at 8:00 am and finishes at 10:00 am.
What transport is available to get around?: Oban is about 18 miles north of us. There is a bus service daily to Oban, although limited. The bus will stop at the top of the drive. It is the stop between Craobh Haven and Kames Farm. A local taxi firm is also available although fairly expensive.

There are a few options for trips to the Corryvreckan. The closest to the hotel is Farsain Cruises which sail from Craobh Haven which is about two miles from the hotel. The other is in Easdale which is approximately 12 miles from us and therefore private transport would be better.

Kilmartin Glen is approximately 14 miles south of us. A bus service is available for that.
What can I do nearby?: Limited entertainment until you get into Oban. Plenty of attractions such as Corryvreckan Whirlpool and Kilmartin Glen.
Do you have internet?: We do not have internet in our bedrooms, only available at reception or in the lounge.
Do you provide parking?: There is plenty of parking in the hotel grounds.
