Room large but bathroom very small.

Rooms v.small. Bathroom awful. Not even a half decent b&bKey card wouldnt work when we got back late evening. No night porter so a taxi had to take us back to liverpool. You could use the toilet & shower at the same time the bathroom was so small. (it looked like something out of portacabin). It was difficult for two adults to get ready in the room again because room was that small.

Good HotelCustomer service was first class, car park at rear limited to 5 cars and cramped but a warm welcome was given. Room was very good, the bathroom pod was a little cramped but clean. Breakfast was excellent.

The owner/manager of the hotel was extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms were spacious and comfortable although the bathrooms were a little on the small side!! The location was ideal and suited our needs. Only took about 7 or 8 minutes to walk into the centre of Chester where there were plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty! A thoroughly enjoyable stay!

Very Good Hotel Nicely Located Near The Train stationAll good the only issue was parking you had to pay in a public car park apart from that all good.what can i say if your traveling by train its really good if you have a really nice car and your protective of it you might not want to drive here.

Not the best value for money. This hotel was not a bad place to stay, the guy on reception very pleasant and the rooms where pretty clean, but with a really, really small bathroom. The only problem I had was that the window in the room didn't shut properly, we where in the front of the hotel and suffered traffic noise till the early hours of the morning. If you are a light sleeper then this is not the room for you. I think it was a little expensive for the accomodation, but its in a prime spot for access into Chester city centre and onto the main road to travel in and out of Chester.

excellent stay at lloyds of chesterWe found the hotel very clean and the room very comfortable the service from the ower and the staff excellent it is in a very good postion only about 8 mins walk to the city centre. We would not hesitate to stay there again and would highly recommend this hotel as very good value for money.

A little more money needs to be spent on this hotelShown to a room that was unmade, unflushed toilet and still with someone else's possessions in it! Window did not shut properly and combined with this not having any inner glazing the noise from the road was terrible. No front door access control so not only were we disturbed by the rowdy group of girls occupying the neighbouring rooms at 1.30am(running in & out of each other rooms, slamming doors and being very noisy in communal areas) but also their 'visitors' (can specify an Irish Gentleman as the noise was so loud!) who obviously made it very easily in to the hotel and up to their rooms. The worst nights sleep I have ever experienced in a hotel. Why put a couple in a room next to two parties?

Chester Race n StayCouldn't fault this hotel! We really enjoyed our one night stay. Yes the bathroom is on the small side but my husband is 6'2" and he didn't complain and neither did I. We will definately return to this hotel if they'll allow us! Thank you to the hard working owner/receptionist/waiter/porter!!! Jack of all trades!

Lloyds Hotel Chester was in a very good location, only a short walk from train station and 10-15mins to town centre. The room was very clean and spacious with good facilities. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay at this hotel again when we next visit Chester.

The welcome in this hotel was brilliant. The rooms were good just a little on the cold side. I would recommend this hotel to others and would also stay there again .

Huge Family room had strange bathroom box as the ensuite. Very cramped with risk of water from the shower running out under the door. Ideal hotel for a couple to use as a base for Chester and the local . 10 mins Walking Distance to Railway station and about 20 mins walk to city centre but fortunately via numerous bars and restaurants.

The room was very cold and the duvet for the bed wasn't big or thick enough. Also I am sure it wasn't a double bed as it seemed very small. The hotel was nice but with creaky floor boards and people coming in late making a lot of noise, we didn't get much sleep and were very cold!

Not what I wished for !! Not what it was made out to be, bar not open, overall very dissapointed for price. Tiny plastic ensuite toilet / shower unit was extremely small and lacked any quality -- just what it said on the can -- toilet, sink and shower.

Pleasent hotel, not in teh most fantastic part of town, but good value.
