I called several different times to confirm my reservications. We arrived at 3:00a.m. Friday morning after driving for 8 hours. LivINN did not tell us they had given our room to some one else. They let us find out after we had to drive around to the back of the hotel to find we had a KING SIZE one bed room. We had to go back to the front desk and that is when they told us we had to give your room away and they will give us a roll-out bed for our son. I did not like that idea, so they put us in a (DIRTY) suite. They sent maid service up at 9 in the morning and she woke us up to clean the room. After all this inconvenience, we left out on Saturday morning for our family reunion and was called by a family member that if we did not get out of the suite right away they are going to call the police on us. They gave our room away, so they should have told the person that was showing up, the same thing they told us (since we were checking out the next day). So we had to pack all our stuff and move by ourselves (no help from the hotel staff) to a room across the hotel. The toilet was stopped up and they had to send someone to plug it. I will never stay in LivInn Suite, Fridley, MN EVER again. This hotel needs to be dropped from your list as places to stay. HORROR!

If you're staying for 7 days or more they will require a 70 damage deposit and 40 for a criminal background check. This place is seedy and nothing works but the heat that is absolutely blasting and you cannot control. Only the most desperate circumstances would warrant using this hotel.

the hotel did NOT have our reservations so they did not have a room for us reserved. However, they upgraded us to a suite at the regular room rate so I could not complain as that turned out to be a large room with a kitchen. However, the sound from the hallways were very very loud and there was a fight in the hallway which made me wonder if by saving money staying in this small hotel we were not being very wise. Fortunately the room air conditioning unit was loud enough to drown out the outside noise so we could sleep.

The hotel is quiet and theres lots of rooms. The pool/spa was rather small though, however if your more for peace and quiet its excellent. Theres only 1 matience man so repairs are slow, but they are happy to give you a new room, and they are friendly. You might even find them willing to talk to the chattier people there. If you want more space per person go with the executive sweets and the beds are nice. Breakfast is at 7am and the cleaning is done once a week, do most of this yourself or you may be billed for excessive messes.

Okay, the rooms were awesome - modern industrial loft feel. Very good beds and linens. Full-size fridge and microwave, even a hotplate. Shower only in room but was a large steam shower that was great. Now, the bad -- on the last night of our stay large group of teenagers were partying by the back door and our room until past 2:30am. Complained to front desk and nothing was done (think he was on it). Will return and try this motel again but beware of the noise if you are a light sleeper.

This was a weekend stay but the suite is definitely a liveable space for extended periods. Comes complete with king size bed (very comfortable), two reclining chairs, full size refrigerator and dishwasher. No dinnerware or the like in the room. Also, not even a coffee maker in room. But the shower, with two extra "jets" of water was like heaven!!

The flight was great, but the motel was not good. We cancelled our reservations. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The door going into our room did not open easily and I had to hit it with my shoulder to get it open. They did come to fix the door the next day.

The LivINN hotel was a decent space for the amount of money I paid. The staff were very pleasant and I would stay there again. My only problem was the strange odor in the room. I think it was either the carpet or the air conditioning. All in all, I had a very good trip and my stay was excellent.

This was just awful because the air in the room wouldn't work and each night was so hot. I checked a couple other rooms but all seemed the same. I wouldn't stay there again.

The Livinn Suites had a great atmosphere and just what I was looking for on my business stay. I felt at home in the hotel, in the courtyard, and overall in the hotel. I liked that there was a refridgerator and a microwave for my convenience. The location was pretty good, just north of Minneapolis.

Due to the late hour I arrived, little meal options were available, so I tried to get some snacks from a hotel vending machine. The machine was broken and took my money. I somewhat enjoyed my stay.
