The Little River Inn built in 1853 on 225 wooded acres 138 miles away from San Francisco International Airport (SFO), and is located on Mendocino's North Coast which is famous for historic architecture, rugged bluffs, sandy beaches, a working harbor, unique boutiques, art galleries and a fine selection of restaurants encompassing an area from Elk to Fort Bragg. Two miles to the north of the hotel is the village of Mendocino for terrific boutique shopping which is the only town on the California Coast The inn perched on the Pacific Ocean, a resort on the Mendocino Coast is the oldest lodging establishment on the dramatic stretch of Northern California coastline facing the setting sun and surrounded by lush gardens.
The hotel with Victorian cottages meets fine cuisine at the coastal resort. The hotel have an airport that welcomes jets, and home to Van Damme State Park, with beach, forest camping, the Fern Canyon Trail, and some of the last remaining pygmy forest in the world. The meeting, and conference room has wireless Internet access, and fax machines for press events, sales presentations, workshops, intimate meetings, private affairs, receptions, and parties. The inn is surrounded by 65 ocean view rooms, a dining room, bar, day spa, gift shop, nine hole golf course with pro shop a new place for lunch on the North Coast for golf course dining. One can enjoy lunch and dinner at outdoor picnic tables with the ocean view, eat inside or dine in privacy during the usual restaurant hours on request.
