This is a small, very contemporary and elegant reuse of an old coffee and tea import building. The character of the building has been maintained, but the rooms are very contemporary and elegant. The staff are superb and the restaurant is excellent. Located less than five minutes on foot from Federation Square and the Flinders Street train station, the hotel is still private and very quiet. One of the best hotels we have encountered.

Beautiful. Stunning interior design, high ceilings, friendly staff, an excellent place to stay if you're looking for a stylish, relaxed accommodation, as opposed to the glitz and glamour of a 5 star giant hotel.

For a 4-4.5 star boutique hotel, we were surprised there was no slippers, tooth paste and tooth brushes offered as amenities. This isn't a big deal for us. However, if you are promoting yourself as a boutique hotel with a large clientel of business travels which we noticed as the case, details do count.

This is our second visit to the Lindrum, and we loved it. We had a Deluxe room with a view which is one of the better rooms, and it was fantastic. The continental buffet breakfast is much better than a lot of other hotels. We also appreciated the late 11.00am check-out and the offer to store our bags while we met some friends in the city.
