Visit was spoilt by poor staff communication. On the evening prior to depature I spoke to 3 people at reception to request a later checkout time, which I offered to pay for, as the flight home was not until 10pm the following night. 1 of the 3 people,a lady who was wearing a suit, said this would not be a problem. Imagine how it feels to return to the hotel around 1pm to be told at reception that they have packed your bags and that I have to pay for the room! No one knew anything of the request for late checkout and so I got a taxi and sat at the airport for 8 hours. Sorry but I wont be returning to the Lindemann Fjord Hotel Berlin.

Pretty nice hotel located close to the city centre & easy to find. The rooms are clean and tidy, and quiet. Ideal for one night stay when travelling. Pluses: +not very expensive +close to the city centre +garage in the hotel +very quiet +good breakfast Minuses: -rooms not that spacious -the bathroom looked quite old

The Lindemann Fjord Hotel Berlin is execllent value for money in terms of location (10 mins walk from Potsdamer Platz) and cleaniness and service. My only reservation would be with the breaksfast. A delicious spread of meats and breads but a little overpriced compared with the value per room at 11 euro per person. If you are travelling from Schonefeld airport the route on the u and s bahn is easy and if you email the hotel they will send great directions to their hotel from both airports. The nearest site is Potsdamer PlATZ, Sony centre and others AND another 10 mins will take you to the reichstag and loads more. Suitable for couples/families/lone travellers/ There is a park outside the hotel in good wetaher kids would use.

everything was almost perfect, the only thing i didn't like was the location of the hotel, about 10min walking to a subway station, but the rest was very good

Hi Lindemann Hotel Fjord. Thank you very much for a excellent stay in Berlin. We vent to Berlin for a concert with the great GREGORIAN choir in the Passionskirche, It was our first stay in Berlin - but not the last. We will recommand Lindemann Hotel Fjord to others who want to visit Berlin. Merry Christmas.

Nice, quiet location with basic services (no food, excluding breakfast). I got confusing and completely wrong information when I enquired about the nearest hospital and dentist, but the staff was always willing to phone a taxi (and most of them know all the places). A building was erected next door during my stay which made the mornings very noisy, but this is a hotel for spending the night - who wants to sit in their hotel room while in Berlin?! In the end I felt I got value for money, but I won't return to the same hotel.

Nice quiet hotel, about 10 minute walk from Pottsdamer Platz (especially if you cut through the adjacent playground/park) or other U-bahn/S-bahn stations. We walked after turning in the car, but parking would seem to be a problem; small underground garage (about 8 cars) at extra cost. Breakfast in 7th floor restaurant is nice, with possibility to eat on its small terrace, and gives view over neighborhood. Rooms not air conditioned.

The Lindemann Fjord Hotel Berlin is located on a small, shady street near Potsdamer Platz. It is about a 6-8 min. walk to the nearest metro stop. Close to the modern art museum, Philharmonic, and the very cool Potsdamer Plaz area with lots of restaurants. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. However, the lack of air conditioning was very bothersome. Apparently, only some of the rooms at this hotel have air conditioning. Ask for a room with A/C because our room got very hot. Also, our room faced a preschool and we were woken up very early by children playing outside. You might want to ask for a room that doesn't face the school.
