the sheets on the bed were dirty as well as the towels. There was a lack of employees working and at times could not find anyone in the hotel to ask directions around town. All in all dissapointing.

Great internet speed, great location, clean big room, great value. No hairdryer in room. Small basic, clean bathroom, lots of warm towels and excellent bell service. Top marks. Would definitely stay here again.

For skiing at Breck, this hotel has the location. Convenient to lifts and main street shops. Staff is very friendly. They offer all vallet parking, will hold your skis, Internet, bottled water & a "green" shopping bag in the room on the 1st day, but they charge an additional $15 per day resort fee for all this when you check you. Premium lenins & flat screen TVs make up a little for the small rooms.

Good location and roomy. Bed was not great. Easy stroll to Main street, the hub of Breckenridge shops and restaurants. Nice, clean studio with equipted kitchen. Reasonable accommodations for 4 people, especially with kids.

Went up for my 50th birthday with a friend that turned 50 4 days before me. We were up there to ski for 3 days and get some down time. Even though they didn't have the room that I reserved they upgraded us to a room with a kitchen at no extra cost. We got snowed in as the interestate and passes were closed because of the close to 3 feet of snow and we got to ski in amazing snow in mid April. All our friends were jealous because they couldn't get up to ski.

The Viallage hotel is a pleasure...Right on the mountain but within walking distance to all that breckenridge has to offer. From fine dining to great shopping its all at your footsteps.

It was a nice hotel, right in the center of town. The location was great and within walking distance of everything from snowboarding to Sushi. Nice room, though it did have a very tiny bathroom and the windows did not open. The builiding our room was in was not the cleanest but it was a good stay...would stay again...

This hotel is very convenient to everything in the village of Breckenridge, but is in desperate need of a remodel. The common areas, hot tubs, pool, workout facility, etc are in the worst shape. The room was actually fine, although the bathroom was almost too small to move around in. The bed and comfortable and after unplugging the annoying fridge, was able to sleep good. The staff and valet were seamless. For a Vail Resorts property, I would rate it pretty low, since they are normal kept nicer.

My recent experience at The Village Hotel was definitely satifying. It was still early and ski season hadn't officially begun, but if it had then this hotel is right at the base of Peak 9. Since Peak 8 was the only one open we weren't able to take advantage of this. We did however have a shuttle bus stop right outside of the hotel that took us right to Peak 8 for our snowboarding/skiing activity. Not only was the hotel closely located to a shuttle bus stop, but it was also right off Main St (downtown Breck). A very short walk to all the bars/restaurants/shopping/spas. The hotel did have an indoor/outdoor pool, fitness center and multiple hot tubs, which all were clean and in working order. It did not have its own spa, but right across Main St. there were plenty to choose from. Since we didn't plan on any Peaks to be open neither of us brought any snowboarding equipment, but directly across the road was a great rental facility; I think it was called like Mountain Valley or something. It was right off S. Park Ave. Anyway, the room was very nice. It appeared to have been recently updated (swivel, flat screen TV, comfortable bed, clean sheets & towels, granite sink, and it included a couch and table as well). So, all in all, our stay was satisfying.

The Village Hotel is in a great location; easy walking distance to many activities and dining opportunities. We had an incredible veiw of the river and ponds next to the hotel. The toilet/shower is quite small, it takes some maneuvering to actually shut the door, but the vanity is separate. Great flat screen TV. And the dresser has a fridge built into it. It is very comfortable with wonderful chairs, bed, and down comforter. Every summer they do upkeep on the hotel, but it never interferes with daily activities. The concierge was very helpful and honest when he directed us to restaurants, grocery stores, and bike rentals.

The Village Hotel was part of a complex of buildings. The room was very nice, well kept and furnished, and the bed comfortable. Our room overlooked the river and had a great view of the pond and mountains. There is little to offer in dinning within the complex, but many restraunts are within an easy walking distance. Parking is almost non-existant at the hotel unless you do valet parking, which is free during the summer, and in a secure basement parking area of the hotel. The only downside is having to wait for your vehicle. The Hotel building had three inside hot tubs which were closed. There was an indoor/outdoor pool and outside hot tubs in another building of the complex. Both areas offered lockers, towels and showers in changing areas.

The Village Hotel is expensive during ski season, but a nice place to stay and walking distance to town. It would be nice if it had a fireplace to sit by in the lobby.

The village Hotel was close to shopping and restaurants. Room was clean and had ample closet space.

Everything was great except the light between the beds didn't work. We called twice, but no one showed up to repair or replace.

the hotel location was the best part of the hotel. It was clean. The reviews I read about it were mixed, so i wasn't sure what to expect, but it turned out perfectly. The hotel staff was so helpful and friendly it just added to the entire stay. I had even lost my wallet and id and there was no problem. We arrived 5 hours before checkin and we were able to get into our room early. the valet was terrific. Easy snowboard in/out location...just great for the value!!
