The hotel was fine, if a little small, being very tall everything seems smaller to me than to others. The hotel was very near the metro station so handy for making our way into and out of Paris.

We upgraded to the largest room possible for our Valentines Day in Paris. The room was still pretty small, but at least it had a full bath so I could take one. But that didn't happen cause they had absolutly NO hot water. We got a refund for the upgrade in the morning. Sorta ruined our Valentines Day.

Arrived at noon, and surly weekend man told us to go away and come back at 2.30. We (2 women) asked if we could leave our bags and he said 'downstairs', and walked away. Other reception staff were good, but this man was a poor start. To get to and from the lift, you have to cross the stairs, with uneven curved steps, so wheeled luggage must be carried. To wheel a bag to the far side of the small room, you have to put the chair on the beds. Tiny shower, barely able to get in as door only opens about 12 ins, but a bigger shower would not fit in the tiny bathroom. Woken by noise from other rooms. Came back after room had been made up to find it smelled strongly of cigarettes (neither of us smoke).

The best thing about this hotel was it's proximity to a metro stop that connected us with the rest of the city. The room was small, and additional services expensive. But, for the price it was a great place to stay. And clean.

Very nice hotel, perfect for tourists who don't want to spend a lot of money, situated very close to the underground, nice multicultural surroundings with good restaurants

Generally good but the room is too small. Located just seconds from Metro, with McDonalds, fruit shops as well as supermarket adjacent. You can also find laundary self-service around 3 minutes from hotel. Hardly find any internet cafe around this. And most importantly don't consider this in hot summer. Indeed very hot but not air-con!!

I needed to leave the hotel early and was told upon check-in that I had to arrange it through venere.com and thankfully everything went well with no penalty charges but it took awhile to sort out. The room was fine, they provide a fan because there is no A/C and the room was really quite stuffy and hot during the last week of July that I was there. My room was right next to the elevator but it wasn't noisy at all. Bathroom needs better lighting, only one bulb, very dim. Bathroom smelled of mildew but I guess that's to be expected with the humidity. I would probably not stay here again but the proximity to the Jaures metro station was perfect. If you are just looking for a place to sleep this hotel would be fine.

if you take the accomodation without breakfast, it is possible, that some guest who knows your room number take breakfast and you have to pay this. another day our room key was taken by another guest, just at this time we came into the hotel and saw this. the security and safety of the room keys is not the best in this hotel

Very agreeable hotel. Friendly and competent staff, clean and convenient rooms. Due to good soundproof windows we could enjoy to be in the middle of a very lively area. Metro stop few steps from the entrance, bus stop in front, plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops, supermarkets etc. For relaxing we could go for a walk along the beautiful, romantic Canal St. Martin around the corner. Two points to critizise: Point 1) The continental buffet breakfast seems to be overpriced (10 Euro), but no problem, you can take your breakfast at the cafe nearby in a very French environment. Point 2) Apart from the luggage rack and few coat hangers in the very small cupboard there was literally no space to store anything away. For overnight stays o.k., but if you want to stay some days it is not very convenient to live out of your bag. Recommendation: change the two concrete cubes at the beds into small chests of drawers. Otherwise a lovely stay!

I arrived at this hotel to find that they had no record of my booking. Despite bringing my reservation confirmation along with me they insisted that they were fully booked on the final night and also that the price I was quoted in my confirmation was wrong. I ended up paying more and having to stay elsewhere on my last night, and the reception staff were not very understanding of this. Other than this, my stay was excellent and the room was very comfortable. Excellent value for money.
