Veranda Cafe is located on the 2nd floor, this is the Resort's main restaurant. The ambiance evoke philippine rusticity with a breathtaking view of the mountains and the sea. International cuisine is on the menu with preferential bias to Leyte-Samar gourmet favorites. San Pedro Bay Seafoods Restaurant is located at the Resort Marina, this specialty restaurant serves available seafood as caught from the San Pedro Bay fronting the Resort property. Cultural presentations of Philippine and Leyte Samar songs and dances are available by arrangement for parties. Lana Lynn Catamaran which you can take a leisurely "Lana Lynn" Catamaran dinner cruise over the San Pedro Bay(American and Canadian Food). Lobby Sala Grill is cozy restaurant which adjacent to the Veranda Cafe and specializes in grilled seafood coming in fresh from San Pedro Bay. The windows are dusty and servants are lazy il WArNING you that tourist woul'd come this hotel because this a lousy hotel and the window grills is rusty hotel

Although food service is slow(duh, like you have to wait for 30 to 45 mins before you can eat :-)), the staff are great! they are so friendly and makes me feel at home. I forget all about the amenities and the hotel condition because of the view. I am speechless! its a paradise! breathtaking! PRICELESS!!We brought a business partner there and they just love it! we forgot about whatever everyone is complaining about in this review section. I will never go to another hotel everytime im there. Oh by the way, this hotel is rented. So, what can you expect? Might plan to buy it, if the price is right!

The soul and glory of tacloban's jewel hotel is lost since Imelda Marcos era. Mr. The new owner, Chan, does not know what he is doing. the hotel is the worst in the Philippines.

I generally agree with what the previous reviews says about this hotel. it is one of the most run down hotels in Tacloban too bad for the employees there, unfortunately the owner is already indebted and really does not know how to manage a place like this

The hotel is generally run-down everywhere you look, however we booked a newly refurbished room (sort of a cabin) and it was really clean, modern and very large. The shallow section of the pool was OK, but the deeper section looked quite murky. We decided not to have meals in-house, but ate at some of the excellent restaurants in Tacloban. Desk staff were pleasant. The location is spectacular. It's a pity someone can't spend $10 million on refurbishing the hotel as it needs and deserves it.

This hotel is a disgrace. The location is lovely but the hotel couldn't be worse. Lousy rooms, poor food and above appalling staff. In short emblematic of the Philippines' inability to cater to tourists.
