It was convenient to local restaurants and stores.

My husband and I absolutely adored this hotel! It is right in the center of everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

August, 2008
The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. The hotel is undergoing some renovations, but the area we were in was still worth probably $$ a night. The one sore spot was the indoor pool, which was not very clean at all. To top it off the outside entrances were open and it was obvious that people that were not staying in the hotel would invite themselves in whenever they wanted; whether they were invited by the staff or not is a toss up.

i would have like to known that due to construction that just getting into the parking lot and trying to get close to the entrance would be such a task. that was annoying. the appearance of the room was depressing. the cleanliness was not so great either. the shocker was my child screaming from the bathroom while sitting on the toilet because a huge 2" roach came out from somewhere and scared the heck out of her. despite those negatives it was relatively close to everything. a final note: my sister who was on vacation with us used another online service and named her own price. her hotel was top notch in every way and paid much less than i did.

Convenient. Old rags left in bathroom- so cleanliness. Overall that I expected for the star. Not too bad, but I would have liked it better had I not found the old rags.

very nice for the money. i would stay there again. staff was very friendly

Location. The pool was dirty. This was the worst room I've had in years maybe ever. The pool was dirty. The restaurant was not family friendly. The rooms were old looking and unclean. I would not recommend this hotel to my friends. Stay away.

The bed itself was very comfortable. However, the pillows were awful!!! Old, hard and small. When I requested more pillows, the front desk said they were all out> I'm sure that's because they were throw away!! Next trip we will bring our own pillows!

The beds were very comfortable. Nothing. Staff was excellent, room was very roomy and comfortable. There is construction was going on at this time, it does not interfere with hotel operations or comfort.

The Lexington George Washington Inn in williamsburg virginia was a hotel slightly below average. Construction was going on at the front entrance which made me wish I had not booked this place.Flowers were being planted with some type of manure, which smelled horribe as I went in and out of the hotel. The inside of the hotel looked old.The carpet looked dirty. The room was very basic. Every thing looked ok ,just outdated. However I would not pay the regular rate that the hotel asks for .You would be wasting your money. The best thing about the hotel was the staff. They were very professional and very polite. The location was pretty good also. My hotel experience overall would be a 2 out of a 5.

Pool was nice, room was clean, employees are helpful. TV remote and wall light did not work. Good location, comfortable beds, great pool and hot tub. Good hotel for the price!

Hotel entrance is all boarded up, grounds and parking lot are in decay and in need of repair. Hallways are worn and stained. The ice machine was broken, as well as one of the elevators. We asked for a King and got a two queen room instead. There were no pictures on the wall and although the air condtioning unit ran, it did not provide cool air. The staff was nice and were professional, but this hotel needs to be closed until all its renovations are complete. The on-line pictures were very misleading. My wife and I were in shock when we drove up and saw the place all boarded up and so run down. Fortunately we only booked a room for the one night.

Nothing. Old dirty needs maintenance. Not worth the time to review this mess of a hotel.

Ease of parking my vehicle. Small rooms, dirty old swimming pool, no decent restaurant, no free breakfast. I would classify this hotel more like a motel 6 or a motel 8 which you expect to be a 1 star hotel and even they offer some type of breakfast and more modern accommodations.

Atmosphere was awesome and inviting. The pool was not available to us for the entire weekend. Our stay was a great experience. We definitely will be coming back.

The location was great. The free internet never worked, even with their assistance. The location was great, the bed was very comfortable, clean area, internet never worked, which was very disappointing.

It was very pleasant and the staff was very friendly. Only one mirror in the room need two mirrors when you have more than two people. Overall the hotel was very nice and pleasant. The only thing the bathroom is made for only one person and the room only had one mirror and that was in the bathroom. The humidity in the room was very high even the air conditioner was on.

Inexpensive, about 10 mins from Busch Gardens. Hotel still in the process of renovations, limited parking. We were satisfied with our stay. The hotel is still undergoing renovations, and should be very nice once complete. We were disappointed that there was no continental breakfast offered, and prices for the breakfast bar were a bit steep; however, there is a McDonald's close by. Busch Gardens and Prime Outlets are only a 10-15 minute drive away. Our rooms were a bit dated, with old carpeting, but were clean and acceptable. The bathroom had been renovated nicely. We found this hotel to be fine for a quick trip to Williamsburg.

The staff was very friendly and gracious taking care of all our needs. The pool area looked like something that wasn't maintained at all. The pool area needs serious updating and rooms need to be deodorized. Walking out wet onto the cold tile front lobby floor was irritating. Especially, when there was two parties going on in the main hallway to the pool. A wedding party got to see us all wet and barely clothed.
Date of Stay:

The lobby looked recently updated. The staff was friendly. Carpets are soiled and need to be upgraded. Room foyer light was not working. Door knobs looked dirty. Bathroom was ok. The hotel needs major upgrade. First time stay in a 2 star. This hotel is ok if you're expecting what a 2 star hotel will be. The carpets need upgrade. Bathroom was ok, not great. Door knobs need some extensive scrubbing. Hopefully with Lexington brand taking over there will be a major renovation. Location wise this is very close to Colonial Williamsburg.
