This was the dirtiest hotel we've ever stayed in. First off, they didn't have our reservation when we got there so we had to go through the process of obtaining a room. There was soap scum and hair in the bathtub, the carpet did not look like it had been vacuumed in months, there were cobwebs all over the walls and ceiling, the furniture had deep dark stains all over it (we didn't sit on the chairs because of the stains), the curtains were ripped and dirty, it was just overall nasty. I couldn't believe this hotel was recommended to us by Orbitz.

The room stunk so bad that we couldn't stand it. We were there for less then 2 min. left and got a room at the red lion. I can't believe they let hotels like this stay open. Condem it.

We stayed here several years ago when it was Howard Johnson's and it was a decent place back then. How times change! It's apparent that upkeep and cleanliness are not a priority. We were assigned room #217. The carpet was filthy. I told the manager that I either wanted my money back or a clean room. I was informed that getting my money back was not a option. So, we went on a search for a clean room. Going from room to room, we weren't able to find any that had been made or cleaned. Finally, we were given the "executive suite". The carpet was reasonably clean but the bathtub had never been cleaned, at least recently. The manager cleaned it with some bleach and a wash cloth. I asked as to why the place was in such a sorry state. I was told the owner refused to hire any help other than homeless people who were given a free room in exchange for labor. Well, you get what you pay for.

When we went to check in, they did not have our reservation we had booked through Orbitz. They were able to get us into a room. It was a large room but the furniture was quite stained, nightstand had not been cleaned though a drink had been spilled there, towels were very thin, sheets dingy and gray, food left in the frig from the previous occupants. That night it was quite noisy with traffic noise and other guest checking in. They were working on the pool and planting flowers outside the day we checked in--trying to spruce up the exterior. They have a long way to go, both inside and outside!

This hotel was a terrible experience, we were checked into 3 rooms before we finally got a room that met our request, once in the room their were no towels, the room had not been cleaned, they smelled like mold, the beds not made and the carpets were stained so bad it was hard to determine the color. I would not stay here again, ever.

If I were stranded in this city with absolutely no where to stay but the Lewiston Inn and Suites I would find a tree or an overpass to sleep under. From the beginning, as we're pulling into this ghetto parking lot I noticed the pool to the left. It had SOME water in it but around the top of the water had this brown algae/duck waste caked onto the wall. I realize it's only May and not really swimming weather but it reminded me of National Lampoon's Vacation when they went to the campground. There was also a trashy bar in the next parking lot. As my husband was checking us in at the front desk, a man appeared and asked for an ashtray as well as the room number that we were staying in! And the front desk person told him!!!!! My husband could not believe his ears! Not to mention we have our 2 young daughters with us. So as we're heading upstairs to our room and we hear this explosion and see this thick dark smoke rising up. One of the air conditioning boxes blew up below us! And the room itself was just DISGUSTING! It was dirty and smelly and way way outdated. Meanwhile, the stench of ciagrette smoke and the sounds of peel outs in the parking lot drove us out and thank GOD there was another hotel with vacancy up the street. We didn't even care that we lost 75 we just had to get out and fast! STAY HERE IF YOU DARE!!!!

The room was dirty, dirty toilet and rug needed vacuuming. Overall it just felt like a dive. I phoned in specifically to make arrangements for my elderly parents to be on the ground floor. When we arrived a grumpy night clerk didn't seem to care or do anything to help sort things out so my folks had to trudge upstairs to the second floor. The price was cheap and we definately got less that what we paid for.

If you like the SLUMS you will like this place WHAT A DUMP ..... Management is obvious heavy drug users .....a number of residents druggies that live in rooms .....the room smelled badly of smoke and was dirty .....bedding was dirty and had burns in it....knife fight in parking lot .... next to 3 bars so it is load until after 2am (if your lucky)....asked for money back was denied and was unable to get any other room in town due to NO vacancies so we were forced to stay ...was very concerned for safty of family and car ....not much sleep!! Beware

No record of reservation from Orbitz, however, we were able to secure a room. Staff was unfriendly and very unprofessional. Room was filthy, with pubic hair on toilet, long hair all over in the bath tub, carpet was sticky and had not been vacuumed as we picked up a bottle cap, several m&m's and candy wrappers around the beds. Left over food found in the refrigerator,we had to ask for towels (none in the room) and I found money (2 dimes and a penny) in my bed when I pulled back the covers. To top it off here were 2 taverns housed next door so there was extreme noise all night. However, I must say I did feel safe due to seeing several Police cars in the neighborhood and a sign in the hotel lobby which said "NO FIREARMS ALLOWED IN THE HOTEL"(no kidding!).I travel often and I must say this was the worst place I have ever stayed. Drop this one Orbitz.

The front desk clerk was quick, efficiient and friendly. The other staff personel were just fine. The room was comfortable and suited my needs perfectly for a short business trip. The room was extremely affordable, a great bargain.

This motel was dirty, smelly, and seedy. If we hadn't brought our dog, we would've stayed elsewhere. This should not be on your list, certainly not first!

I stayed here for a couple of nights and was pleased with my stay. The rooms were clean and the staff were all very nice and helpful. I would stay here again.

I asked for adjoining rooms and didn't get that. I got room 106 and 123. However, there were empty rooms on either side of room 106. The A/C in room 106 worked, but the refrigerator looked like someone had spilled grease both inside and out. The turntable in the microwave looked the same way. Underneath the beds hadn't been cleaned in awhile and the carpets looked as though they had never been cleaned. Room 123 was passable except for the A/C. Only the fan worked. I didn't use the refrigerator as there was old fruit in it that was only suitable for the garbage can. It was graduation weekend at the Washington State University, about thirty miles north. I will not stay at this motel again.

I was dissappointed with this hotel. I was expecting it to be slightly more maintained. The room smelled very musky and had a very odd odor when you entered. The bed was very soft and the bathroom was very old and had rust stains in the bathtub. I was dissappointed that the staff was not better dressed when they were working the front desk. There was no sense of proffessionalism at all. Though they were very polite.

"Horrible office presentation. No heat or hot water. Could only get a price negotiation by emailing the owner, in which I received no reply."

This used to be a nice hotel but has become horribly rundown! Carpet was dirty, bathroom had mold. Not very clean overall. Chair in room broken and stained. Pool was closed when we arrived due to a storm the previous night. The person checking us in was behind the desk reading a newspaper when we came into the office to check in....took about a minute to notice we came in the office...

It had mold in the bathroom, the internet hookup (what I needed) was excellent. Close to the hiway, food places. And it was very cheap, under $*, excellent for the money. I will stay there again.

"The air conditioner was broken, The sheets were dirty there was a big long hair in the bed. The furniture was dirty and gross and there was mold in the bathtub. You pay for your room in advace site unseen and then they fought with us on refund. We stayed 1 night if they'd give us clean shetts.. we had to change ourselves.!! Do yourself a favor don't stay here!"

Our room was clean and the staff was really nice. They had free wifi and welcomed our dog. They were also real helpful with places to eat and directions. There was a fridge and microwave in our room too.

The carpet was dirty. Three people stayed in the room but we were given towels for only two. The continental breakfast was one the worst we have had.
