The hotel is located within a few hundred metres of the major attractions of the Sultanahmet district, to the west of Topkapi Palace. A tramline is within the vicinity with links to other parts of the city and Sirkeci train station is less than 1 km away. Ataturk International Airport is about 13 km from the hotel.
Facilities
The city hotel is named after a notable miniature painter from the 18th century and some of the reproductions of his art are on display in the hotel. The establishment was renovated in 2011 and has 75 guest rooms. The decor and furnishings are modern and contemporary. Facilities include air conditioning, a lobby and 24-hour reception and check-out services are available. There is also a hotel safe, currency exchange, cloakroom and lift access to the upper floors. A cafe, bar, restaurant and winter garden breakfast room are provided for guests' dining needs. Moreover there is a meeting/function room and wireless Internet access and guests can take advantage of the room and laundry services on offer (additional charges apply).
