This was a great hotel for the money, I thought. It was like having an apartment. There were even two bathrooms and a laundry room! The kitchen was well stocked though it was missing its frying pan-I feel sure there was one originally. The only comment I would make is that it was a shame that there were no chairs to sit on out on the balcony. It's a small balcony, but it still would have been nice. Overall, I would come back and recommend this to anyone coming to Ottawa.

LOVED this hotel! Staff was incredible and you could have put my entire apt. in there twice and still had room left over. Staff was truly amazing both before and after I arrived. The pool overlooking city was lovely and very CLEAN. Wonderful experience!

Really great hotel--staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice business centre and FREE hi-speed internet access and local calls! Can't really find a lot of free stuff in other hotels nowadays.

Friendly staff and clean room. Was blindside whenI was told it is $16.00 to park. Stayed in 1 bedroom suite with a full kitchen and separate dining living room. Close to Byward Market and other notable attractions ( royal mint).

We were really surprised to find this ""jewel"" right downtown Ottawa. The size of the suites are superb and the staff made us feel welcome and at home

The hotel is located close to everything. Yet there is a group of individuals who hang out near the hotel making a person alone feel unsafe. The staff members were very pleasant and courteous. However, there is no area to allow your pet to walk in. The carpets throughout need replacement. There are no bell persons.There is only a small coffee shop on the premises.

Convenience of home - fully equipped kitchen and all! Needs updating. Wonderful downtown location, perfect for families who are traveling with children. Close to shops and restaurants in the heart of the city. Can get to attractions via bus or by walking.

The amenities available in the suite were great as was the fantastic location. We only stayed one night but the cleaning staff came into our room before we had even checked out around 9:30-10 and check out was at noon. The hotel has a great location and it was great to have an entire suite with all the amenities. I wasn't very impressed with the cleaning staff trying to enter our room before we had even checked out though. Fortunately I had put the latch across the door though cause we were still in bed at 10am on a Sunday.

Great location, nice large clean room. Pleasantly surprised on how big the 1 bedroom suite was, compare to an ordinary hotel room. Big living room, full kitchen, washer and dryer. Would definitely stay here again.

Afternoon shift hotel clerk allowed us to park in 15 minute parking for as long as we required. I cancelled the morning paper and arranged for a wake up call, but instead I received the paper and never got the wake up call. Spacious rooms. Good location. Friendly staff. Certainly not luxurious, but it definitely met my needs. Laundry facilities were an added bonus.

It has a washing machine, dryer machine and kitchen. Parking lot is hard to find at the basement. Drive in and exit from the main building are too small, it's impossible to move if you have another vehicle infront of you.

The size of the room was great, it was spacious and attractive. The cleaning staff! My trip was great until the morning I left. I had asked 2 rooms and some of my party left earlier than others. Before even checking out of the hotel, the cleaning staff went into my room, and threw out some of my personal belongings! When I realized this happened, as I checked out of my 2nd room it took about 1 hour to get everything back. And it had not even been put in the lost & found. 3 brand new birthday gifts had been thrown out, as well as 2 bottles of liquor which were never recovered, or even replaced. I was horrified they were even in my room when I hadn't checked out and gone through all of my personal belongings. I was very unhappy with the way the staff treated my room.

This hotel was in a great spot. We could walk to everything. The hotel room was quite large but not very clean. The kitchen floor had crumbs and dirt on it, the mirror in the bathroom had not been cleaned. The hotel was in a great area. We pretty much walked everywhere and there was no need to drive. Our room was large but not very clean. We were in a non smoking room and there was a beer can on the patio with cigarette butts all around. My daughter has asthma and allergies to dust and smoke and had to use her inhaler far more than usual. Having a kitchen in the room was very convenient and the staff was very friendly. We were in the older section and the room was very dated

Friendly staff. Large rooms with a separate living room area. Kitchen. Outdated furnishings in the room. This hotel was in a good location, and it was nice to have such roomy accommodations. A separate living room from the bedroom made it feel quite comfortable. With a kitchen and laundry room in unit a person could stay for a longer stay. The room and furnishings were clean and comfortable, but out-dated, and not luxurious in any way.

Location and friendly staff. Dated decor and noisy rooms. An excellent location in downtown Ottawa, free business centre, and superb staff barely make up for the hotel's dated decor and exceedingly noisy rooms.
