Route De L Abbaye De Senanque Gordes, France
Description:
Discover a place hidden in the middle of 8 acres of provencal nature, nearby the famous village of Gordes and the Abbey of Senanque, two indoor and outdoor pools, a tennis court, 35 deluxe rooms decorated in the typical style of the region, a gastronomic restaurant where our guests are welcomed in a 3000 year old Boire, and a spa with a beauty farm. Everything has been thought for the pleasure of sweet idleness, just listen to the sound of the ciccadas. Northern Provence is an exciting area to explore. It is dominated by Mont Ventoux, whose white scree makes it look snowcapped even in summer, and the vast nature park of Luberon. Picturesque villages perch atop the rugged foothills, the most famous of which is Gordes. Nearby is a bizarre village made up of 'bories' - beehive dwellings constructed of dry stone since neolithic times and inhabited until early last (20th) century. Unlike its namesake, Les Bories is a cool, contemporary oasis within the flowering wilderness. Les Bories is a Small Luxury Hotels of the World property.

| Les Bories is a very good hotel where you can sit back and relax. You can enjoy a private moment with your family, without disturbance, due to its isolated location. But to be honest, the transportation is not too convenient. We didn't drive when travelling abroad. We simply went there by taxi. When we left and asked for a taxi, the hotel offered to drive us to the nearest train station (by charge of course). Also, it's a bit far away from the Bories city center, we took 30mins to walk down to the city. And there is no signage in/near the hotel except that there're some trees on the 2 sides of the main entrance. It would be good if the hotel can provide shuttle for guests. |

| This is a very quiet place near Gordes which is a fabulous small town. Hotel Les Bories offers a good value for a discounted price. Breakfast = 23 €...Too too expensive and please Don't eat near the swimming pool, the food is no good and the service awful. |
