10 minutes away from manchester town centre yeaahhhh right!!1. took us forever to get there from manchester city centre and cost a fortune. even tho aparently it is 10 minutes away2. the room we got was terrible, it was small, old fashioned and lieterally everything in it was just old and it smelt old. As i was leaving i noticed some other rooms of a miles better quality and size3. bathroom was discusting4. was just fumming about the whole thing it wasted my time and money travelling and the recetion dest didn't care in the slightest

stayed here for one night while visiting friends. for the price (£35) can't complain at all. Room was very cramped and the separate toilet and shower/wash basin were in what can only be described as 2 small cupboards, requiring some maneouvring to get the door open and actually get into said cupboard, especially with 2 people in the room. However, bed was comfy, slept well despite it being a warm night and staff were very polite and efficient. No hot water in the morning though, but perhaps that's because we got up 10 minutes prior to checkout...

i booked this accomadation for a group of friends whilst visiting manchester for a concert. We were unable to get even a cup of coffee on arrival, the bar was not open and was closed by the time we got back in the evening. When we asked if we could order some drinks and some take out food we were told no. To top it all off an industrial fan had been left on in the cupbaord next to our room which was so noisy we managed to get no sleep at all. I would not stay here again. The room was very old fashioned.

SUPERBFirst a word of warning, although this is advertised as a Manchester Hotel it is some way out. This however does not detract from the quality of the hotel. I booked the executive room on Late Rooms and at the price it was unbelievable. The use of the LA Fitness centre down town was a real treat. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and I and my partner had a very pleasant night in the hotel bar after returning from a meal in Sale. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough

Really nice hotel in a very nice quiet location, with lots of trees around, but close enough to walk into the town centre (5 mins). The room was great and very clean and comfortable. The people who run the place and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great. I would recommend it to anyone.

leisure breakHaving booked to see We will rock you in manchester our group (2 married couples and 1 single) decided to stay the night in manchester. Booking our hotel through Laterooms we decided to stay at the Lennox Lea in Sale. The hotel was easy to find and well positioned, being just 5 mins walk from the metro link into town centre. The hotel itself was clean and the staff were pleasant. The only complaint our group had was the single room was very compact, although this seems to be the case in too many hotels. Breakfast was very good , but we didnt eat at the hotel in the evening as this was booked for a wedding. Found a very good restaurant just 3 mins walk away called Table 10. We would all use this hotel and restaurant again if visiting manchester in the future. John & Jean Sheffield

Charming and AffordableScoured the internet looking for a place to stay close to the Manchester Airport, but not right on top of it. Lennox Lea, technically in the township of Sale was a perfect find. Comfortable and charming in a residential neighborhood and easy to locate even for a Yank driving on the opposite side of the road. Staff was great. Accomidating. Kind. Wedding party on the first night of our stay so we ventured into town for some pub grub and refreshments. A very short walk. Went to a local brew pub and old rail station pub. Lots of locals whooping it up. Got a real feel for the local scene- something I was really looking for. At the end of our 10 day stay in UK and Scotland we stayed at Lennox Lea once again and got a rate comarable to the internet rate. More local pubs and even convinced the bartender into serving us soup after the kitchen had closed. Good cheap real ale too- 1.70 pound a pint. All in all we loved Lennox Lea. Stairs and no lift but that's OK with us. See you folk in two years and we will always refer you whole heartedly!

Beautiful building - nice area. Hotel in need of modernising. Our rooms were described as junior suite - nothing like it! One double room with one adj single room with 1970's decor. Was not dirty but a good dust wouldn't have gone a miss. Staff were very polite and helpful though!

a beautiful hotel in a very nice areaMy teenage son and myself stayed in this very nice hotel for a couple of nights. The staff were very helpful and obliging. Ample parking. Short walk from the metro. Even tho we stayed in an adjoining budget suite, it was very clean and plenty of tea and coffee making facilities. The Taxi service they use, don't know the name but apparently both drivers were called Dave, were very prompt, resonable and friendly. Unfortunately was not able to sample food but menu looked fab!! Would really recomend. If you are going to watch footie, which we weren't , taxi fare is around £12 but that was with a tip!! Should I stop in Manchester again I would definitely use the Lennox Lea.
