There are a few rooms that have been converted from something else. These few rooms don't offer proper facilities, i.e. fridge and microwave in the toilet, no cabinet to keep and hang clothes in, they have a connecting door to another room, etc.

Downside: Furnishings tired. Carpet should be replaced. Wall heater inoperable. Views of bay difficult to obtain. Parking and access narrow. Upside: Very quiet. Close to Hobart CBD and eateries, but need a car. Modest price. Friendly staff. Plenty of pleasant walking opportunities.

Room was very small. Housekeeping didn't change our bed linens until I asked on day 5. Bed wasn't made at all and left as it is every morning. Receptionist is hardly there although the sign clearly stated 9 AM -5.30 PM. Overall....not too happy with our stay.

Very quiet location and thus very restful. Only negative comment is that the turn into bottom car park is very tight and requires care especially at night, but this minor quibble aside I regard the place as very good and would definitely stay there again
