Really nice hotel, good location, Our hotel room window was opposite Nash's house. we stayed in an old room which was nice but quite noisy at night as floorboards outside room were really creaky! Breakfast was lovely and staff very friendly. would go back.

Excellent Hotel for the moneyThis was a great value hotel, in the heart of Stratford Upon Avon! We requested a quiet room and that's exactly what we got...no noise what so ever!! Our room was in the newer part of the hotel and although it didn't have as much character as the older part, the room was ideal. The hotels free car park was a definite bonus!!

We particularly appreciate being able to postpone dessert/cheese & bicuits until we return from the theatre - so dinner is not rushed. We were able to sit with friends, discuss the performance, have a leisurely coffee & dessert before going to bed. Brilliant!

Fantastic Quality & Excellent Value for MoneyRoom, Food (Evening Meal & Breakfast) & Service were all excellent. Especially good value for money when booked under the Dinner, Bed & Breakfast deal, and free parking onsite. The hotel could not have been more central to all the attractions of Stratford.

Great stay, really enjoyed our wedding anniversary breakWe read alot of reviews for central Stratford hotels and most were pretty dire. The Falcon had the best reviews and this did sway us, combined with its central location and free car parking, into making a booking. As it was our wedding anniversary we were upgraded to a four posted room in the oldest part of the hotel on the front and this was a delight as it was a corner room with modern bathroom, 2 TV'S, chaise longe and 2 comfy chairs and coffee table. We really couldn't have asked for any more and loved the views of Nash House and the King Edward VI school. We paid the extra £20.00 per couple on top of the B and B rate to eat in the restaurant. The food was excellent and it represnted extremely good value as we each had an allowance of £21.00 to 'spend' and I would recommend anyone doing the same to avoid the inflated prices you would otherwise pay to dine out on a Saturday night in Stratford. The breakfast was similarly excellent with plenty of choice at the buffet table and a cooked breakfast to follow if you wanted it. The rear of the hotel is less impressive with 1970's style architecture but I undersatnd that these rooms have been modernised as well although didn't see them myself. A particularly nice feature of this hotel is its courtyard garden with lots of tables and parasols for shade that also provide welcome respite from Statford's busy crowds and there is plenty of quiet areas in the public rooms on comfy sofas etc if you want to enjoy an after dinner coffee and the papers plus an atmospheric bar. Will definietly stay here again.

If you stay at this hotel get a room in the newer section. The single I had in the old building whilst full of charm was small, cramped and not soundproofed at all. I could hear everything said by the couple next door. Other than that it's a great place.

Lovely hotel and well recently re-furbished. Main bedroom window wouldn't open and with the recent heatwave, we didn't feel this was particulary good.Would go back and stay again and would recommend to others.

Good accommodation, spacious room, clean and tidy. TV a bit irritating as you have to go through about 4 different menu's to get to the free TV channels, there was no short cut that I could find, this complicated menu set-up also kicked in if you left the TV on standby. Reception response was a bit slow, but when you did manage to get hold of someone they were usually quite responsive.

Tudor Black and white facade fronts concrete hotel with no acThe hotel is in a good location and the imagery on the website suggest you will stay in a quant tudor hotel. Most guest won't because thats just the facade. Most of the rooms are in a modern concrete box at the back. The staff are really friendly and the rooms are clean and functional however if the temperature rises, which it did, there is no AC and they had insufficient fans to hand out. The room got really sweaty. The weather is not their fault of course but their inability to plan and cope is. Not bad for a stopover but avoid the summer months would be my recommendation

Room with a ViewRoom was quite small but nicely decorated. Bathroom was minute but ok for just 1 night. Had nice view of Thomas Nashs garden from window. Dinner in the restaurant was superb. Breakfast also good with wide range of juices, fresh fruit, cereals etc. Full english was tasty and service at both dinner and breakfast was excellent. Would stay again and recommend to friends.
