Did not have a variety of meats selection for breakfast, but are forced to eat pork or nothing. Told that's just to bad, we do not offer anything else. Even smaller hotels have a variety cable movie channels, not here. No wifi access in rooms. Room amenities such as coffee/creamer and drinking cup/glasses were not enough for more than one serving. We will not be staying at this hotel ever again.

It was close to Chicago and parking excellent. Pool very cold, juice machines broken. The location is excellent, staff wasn't friendly and helpful. Pool was unusable because very cold. The hotel needs new management to fix up and repair overall. We stayed two years ago it has been let rundown nice our last visit.

I really hate to say it, but we were not impressed. Our carpet was dirty, even popcorn along the wall's edge. On the underside of the sink faucet, It was very far from clean! Hallway carpets stained and dirty looking. No caffeine coffee available at breakfast. Delivery for the coffee was backordered for two weeks. Maybe someone could have gone to the grocery store to buy some? Serving spoons were set out on the ledge where anyone could sneeze or cough over. We didn't eat there......The entryway windows were all smudgy. The pillows were almost flat and no extra in closet. Couldn't get to the pool. We live closeby, will not recommend to our traveling friends and family. There are three other lodging businesses walking distance away......

Let me first say that the staff was pleasent and very nice. But the reason for my post is to warn of the room condition. Again employees were nice and helpful but the 1st floor room was awful. The first room smelled like moldy socks when my family opened the door and the carpet was buckled. We looked at each other, walked out, and asked for another room. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Next room on 1st floor did not smell much better and had these problems; 1-wallpaper falling from walls, 2-toilet lid attached with 1 bolt falling off, cigarette holes in bed blankets, sink was cracked, carpet was also buckling, dead flies on air conditioner, opened drapes showed more wallpaper falling off wall, dark stain marks inside bathroom doors. We just felt grossed out staying here and with our child starting at a local college we will never stay there again. Oh, and the coffee pot was missing and when the room was cleaned the sheets were reused (without asking) and even the dead fly was left on top of the air conditioning unit (which even had the air conditioning door fallen off on the floor). It is the only hotel/motel I have ever felt the need to wear my sandals in the room...and trust me I am not that picky. There was numerous stain marks on the hall carpet and a used cotton swab outside our door during 2 night stays. I was surprised they did not sweep the hallway floors. Sorry for the negative review but again this is on the condition of the room, not the staff.

the floor covering throughout this hotel was very worn and dirty. judging from the smell and spotted carpet, it appears that they allow animals in these rooms. this hotel provided only two bath towels and no hand towels in our room. and only one trash can. when we asked for an additional trash can the people behind the desk stated that this was all that they allowed per room. the people who cleaned the room left dirty towels laying in the bath room. the help in this room were very rude and unwilling to respond to our basic needs.there was only one women who worked in the kitchen was helpful.

The rooms were not clean and the waffle machine was broken for breakfast.

There was a group of us staying and we had 3 rooms. The rooms were filthy with tile loose and missing on the bathroom floor. The sheets and towels were so thin you could see through them. In one of the rooms the sheet were dirty and stained and had hair on them We asked to be moved but were told there were no rooms available, they did change the sheets. I had to call and ask for towels every day. We had paid for extra people in the rooms, but they would only leave 2 towels, 1 washcloths and one face towel. The heater in one of the rooms did not work. It would put out hot air, but would never shut off no matter what the temperature was set on. You had to shut it off and then turn it back on when I started to get cool. The door jam by the lock was missing some pieces of wood, it looked like someone had chipped it away with a knife When I asked to speak to the manager I was told she was on vacation and that no one was in charge while she was gone.

The hotel was clean and the room was big. The buffet stle breakfast the next morning was great. The staff were very friendly. The only bad thing I would have to say was thet the pool had so much clorine in it that it burnt my eyes and I didn't even get in the water. My kids went in for about an hour and couldn't stand it any longer. All in all I will stay their again.

The Lee Hotel was comfortable, the room was very big and the bathe was very spacious. The room was clean, but the hallsways had badly stained carpets. I was afaid the room would not be clean, but it was. We only had one bath towel in the room, so my husband went to the desk to ask for one they told him he had to wait. They were just getting them out of the wash, it was 10:30pm. Also, as we were eating breakfast in their dinning area, we were passed by a couple and their dog. I am not foung of dogs in dinning areas, so I didn't appreciate that.

It was friendly. The indoor pool was cold. It was a very nice hotel for the situation that we needed. The only thing I didn't like was we had to pay an extra $10.00 for my mother in law staying in the room with us. I was very upset.

After booking on line for 4 adults, upon arrival our friends were charged and extra $20 ($10/person) over 2 people. You may want to check your room immediately after check in, by the time we got to the 3rd room it was finally one we could stay in. Also you might want to bring your own towels this hotel has a problem keeping enough clean towels available. The one bright spot at this hotel was the pool and hot tub were very good.

The swimming pool/spa was out of order. There really isn't a business center visible on site--had to ask the desk clerk to print off copies @ .10 each. The Silver Service morning buffet is very good and we did get a wakeup call on time. Needed extra towels and a pillow and the night clerk said they were 'out of pillows'. The morning housekeeping staff said they have plenty of pillows, but the clerk was too lazy to give us one. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. For a "inn & suite' combo, there is nothing 'flashy' about this place. We had a bare spot on the wall where a picture once was; bulb was dead in the light fixture at the table. There is a refrigerator and coffee maker. If you want extra soap, shampoo etc., there's a small 'hospitality' area by the front desk where you can pick up your extra toiletries and PAY FOR THEM at the desk. Their website claims that you get free USA Today but we didn't receive one. Nor did we receive Express checkout service. Our business attempted to reserve a block of rooms at this hotel for our conference and personnel stated they couldn't--as that was the lowest price they could quote.

The rooms were large and furnished so that our things could be laid out and we could still walk around the room. The refrigerator was large and the microwave was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast buffet was excellent....almost too much food!

A dirty towel was left hanging on the back of the bathroom door. There was trash behind the head of the bed, seen while sitting on the mattress. I like how the hallways were wide and had an open feeling. The hotel seemed to be cared for and was clean.

The outside and lobby is nice. The room on the other hand was pretty run down and dirty. I had use a washcloth to wash off the tables. They were grimy and gross. The bed spreads were stained. I don't want to think of what the mattresses looked like. The breakfast was okay. Would I stay there again - No.

Let me start by saying that I'm easy to please. I booked our room with a crib (for myself, my husband and our 17 month old) months in advance. When our plane landed I called Lees Inn again (probably my 3rd phone call to confirm) to again confirm our room and confirm that they indeed had a crib. I was simply told, "It's broken." I stayed cordial becuase I understand that things happen, and asked, "okay, what are our options." She un-emotionally repsonded "there are no options." Let me also tell you that the Inn is just feet away from a Target... who as you know sells Pack and Plays. I, again cordially, told her we'd just put the baby in the bed with us. So, we checked arrived to find a very old, very dirty, very rundown hotel. The ladies working the desk did not want to be there and told me several times. I simply smiled and took my family to the room. The next morning I'm pressed for time and trying to get my family out the door. I'm ready to hop in the shower and there are ZERO towels in our room. I politely call to the front to ask if some could please be sent up. I'm told to come down stairs, go to the laundry room and get them myself because there's no one. Downstairs in my PJs I go. I found a staff of 8 sitting around and had to talk them out of a few towels. I finally just said, "I'm down here, I have no towels, please if I could just have 2." Sigh... DO NOT stay at Lees Inn - it's equivalent to a roadside 20 trucker hotel, honestly.

I was impressed by the cleanliness and neatness of my room. The value was great for the service I received. I will definitely be staying at your hotel in the future.

It wasvery clean. Place was well worn. The hotel was very old and run down. It was a clean facility, but the overall appearance was not kept up. Our sink had a crack in it. The tub had rust water stains. The carpet was well worn.

I stayed at this hotel and the front desk hotel staff was rude and cold. If I wouldn't of paid for room in advance, I would of walked out. Rooms were disgusting and smelled bad. There weren't enough towels. I called down to the desk and they told me to go get some pool towels if I wanted them but they were not about to bring them up to us. How they stay open with all that is going on there is a surprise to me. This is a bad case of extremely poor management and it is trickling down to the staff. They seem absolutely miserable. My stay here was one of the worst and I will definitely not return, even if it is free. Please do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to stay. This hotel should be rated a one star at the most. And that is a compliment. Thanks.

This is our second stay at the Lees Inn in Bourbonnais, IL. The staff is very friendly. Their hot breakfast beats a continental breakfast anyday. They accommodated our son who had just broke his foot by giving us a ground floor room and letting him use the big screen TV in the lounge in the evening to play video games as he could not use the pool. They gave my daughter excellent directions upon check-out.
