I liked how the staff was really friendly...didn't really like the fact that there was no exercise room

Concierge and bell staff were excellent. The bed was so poor that we both got very little sleep and had back and headaches the next day. Very pretty, great staff. Horrible bed and bedroom design. Would never recommend for only that reason.

One cannot go wrong with this lovely boutique hotel close to all the action of downtown Vancouver. Apples, water bottles and umbrellas greet you at the desk. The concierge had great ideas for food and activities and the service was excellent. The rooms are small as space in Vancouver is a premium, but the amenities, beautiful furnishings, large bathroom, separate sitting room all make up for the footage. You can't go wrong with price, location, beauty and value of this lovely hotel.

Quaint European-style hotel. Quiet, small, luxurious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was convenient to transportation, shopping and many restaurants. We were able to check in early, which was helpful for us, and so were able to explore Vancouver for an extra day. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who has the opportunity to be in Vancouver.

Attended conference at Univ. of BC. Easy access via Bus or Ready access via Cab during rush hour. Staff was great. Hotel was perfect (Plenty of Hot Water, Quiet Rooms, Spotless room/lobby/elevator/hallway's. All the amenities you could ask for in a 4 star (with exception of the YMCA rather than in-house spa). Fantanstic food in multiple 1-3 block locations. Great location for the best in up-scale shopping.

Beautiful decor and amazingly friendly staff. The very best! Nothing by far the best hotel I've encountered. Rich European style decor blacks, reds and gold's. Quality linens; exceptional towels. Kind and friendly staff that graciously assist with every need. Truly the best all around hotel experience.

What a lovely haven in the City! It was quiet, the beds comfortable, not overly large but still comfortable. The staff very efficient and friendly, The location was very good for both shopping, sightseeing and dining. Everything a boutique hotel should be.

My girlfriends and I stayed here for the Madonna concert last week. The hotel is close to BC Place and shopping on Robson. It was quiet, clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved the Aveda products in the room and the fact that robes are provided for guest use. I've stayed here before with my husband and young son, and would absolutely stay again. When we went to the bar, my friend was "sipping" her drink and the bartender noticed that she didn't seem to be enjoying it, and offered to make her a new one before my friend ever had a chance to ask!

We really enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and we were able to check in early. This gave us extra time to explore Vancouver, which was very easy to do from the centralized location (walk to Stanley Park with great shopping along the way; Gaslight District and Steamworks microbrewery). We were travelling with our 5-year old son. Suite was perfect as we all had our own space. Room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. I travel very frequently for work and this was definitely one of the best hotels I have visited.

Suite-style rooms are nicely appointed and good value for the money. Location is fine, parking is reasonable. Overall, a good alternative to the usual suspects.

We were really pleased with just about everything during our five day stay at this lovely hotel. The suite, hotel restaurant breakfasts, the helpfulness of staff, the convenience of nearby attractions such as Stanley Park and the Museum Gallery, all delighted us. I highly recommend this hotel and the online travel website offer was an excellent value.

Great Location, Very Helpful Staff. Not very helpful after check out. I asked to be allowed to use the luggage lock up for a couple of hours when I was back in Vancouver a couple of days after my 7 day stay in Le Soleil. I thought this was a reasonable request but they didn't even reply to my email. Other than that the hotel was fine, great location.

This was a pleasure trip to Vancouver, followed by some time on Vancouver Island. The hotel was perfectly located. We could walk many places or take advantage of public transportation. The hotel was also exactly the right level of helpful and unobtrusive. When we needed assistance with anything from directions to getting a cab, they were right there and completely helpful. When we were just walking in and out, there was no one with a palm out or any other kind of interaction. The room was lovely. I had mistakenly booked two twin beds and they were incredibly accomodating when I asked that housekeeping re-make the beds together. In fact, it was clear that they knew what they were doing, because they laid extra blankets under the sheet to make the crease between the beds disappear. We did not eat at the hotel, so can't comment on the restaurant, but the apples and water bottles available at the front desk were a nice touch. The free wifi was also a great benefit. Strongly recommend.

Friendly staff, clean room, nice location. Small room and lobby, bad business center. This is a good hotel. Everything is small, looks old and business center doesn't open in weekends and some weekdays.
