Excellent view and great location. Breakfast included in the room price would have been good. Great hotel location and excellent hotel staff.

Free mini bar, flat screen TV, comfortable bed, huge shower. Business center only open until 1700 on weekdays and by request on weekends, expensive breakfast. Le Royal Meridian Hamburg is very pretty with a very attentive staff. I didn't eat breakfast at the hotel because it was over 20 euros and there were cafes nearby. Nice location on the lake, only 10 minute walk from the train station, 15 minutes to the large shopping area. The room was a good size with a large bathroom including a tub and separate large shower. The pool was small, but the whole pool/spa area was very clean and relaxing. I would stay there again.

The spaciousness, furnishings, bathroom, comfortable bedding. The lighting in the bathroom was a bit dim. We absolutely loved this hotel. The concierge was very friendly and helpful. The room was large, beautiful and quiet. The plasma TV was a nice touch. The pool was super clean and tranquil. The bed was so comfortable and the down pillows were great. The walk-in shower with the various body sprays was great. The stay included free rides on the tour boat for the Alster Lake across the street from the hotel. There are lots of coffee shops and restaurants within a short walk of the hotel. We were able to walk all over Hamburg from this hotel.

Location and comfort. Internet access charges are way too high. Super modern hotel in excellent location, although some staples, such as the wash basin, are over the top. Great view over the Alster in the restaurant.

The style, the rooms, the staff are extra nice. This is one of the top German hotels and if one likes a ultramodern art&tech-style nothing could top the overall experience.

5 star - modern - top location, great rooms. They made us pay a premium to have a room towards the lake. we extended our stay as we liked it good to have a hotel in my home town thats more comfy than my own house.

Very pleasant with easy acess to the spa. Good location in relation to the train station. Unfortunately they did not include their breakfast in the room price. The $20 p.p. was too much extra to have to spend. Very comfortable room with luxury features especially in the bathroom. The mini bar was complementary which is usually not the case! Concierge was very pleasant and most helpful. And the price was a great deal.

Excellent rooms Unhelpful concierge Sleekest, most stylish and artistic hotel I have stayed in; like an Ian Schrager hotel (i.e.: Hudson in NYC), but larger. Beautiful appointments, great bath, shower, toiletries. Free minibar was welcome surprise. Highly recommend.

Modern, stylish with fine arts decorated. Breakfastis too expensive. The hotel is located at the outer lake in the center of Hamburg. The 9th floor bar and restaurant level offers a spectacluar view over the lake. The style is modern decorated with fine modern arts in the hall, the aisle and in the rooms. Even the televison offers a program with a video performance about the hotel. The business center offers various rooms of different sizes for all kind of meetings. Wireless lan is availiable as well as broadband intternet connection via LAN and televison. The rooms are comfortable big with phantastic quality of sleep comfort and a unique big sized bathroom.

Service is friendly an swift. Restaurant is very good and they offer reasonable priced wine by the bottle The New Year's Eve party was a flop. Great location (five minutes walk to the central station and shopping district) and friendly staff. The room is ok,the bathtub takes ages to fill with water. Overall its worth the money.
