Watch out for these people. I don't know what the other 9 reviewers were smoking when they stayed here (or who they're really affiliated with) but this hotel is terrible. The staff and the hotel's policies are just plain out "how much money can we take you for?" tactics. They charge 60 cents plus tax per page of a fax. They say they charge you a 100 dollar security charge but when I look at my bank account there is no such charge, but there is a charge from them for 85 dollars, a charge they deny making. Totaling up the charges for the parking and the fax (plus the taxes, domestic goods and services, sales tax, and hotel tax) does not equal 85 dollars. They have clearly already charged me for something else (even though I have not even checked out yet). I bet they're going to give me that 85 dollar charge at checkout and then charge me twice. They want nothing more than your money. They don't care about you and will deny charging your card, even when you tell them that they did and can prove it to them. Stay away. Cracks in the floor and holes in the counter. Tiny bathrooms. I hate this place and will never come back to Montreal unless I can stay in my car (which would be infinitely preferable to this hotel).

Though we did not use it on this trip, it had a full kitchen. Also, it had free internet in the lobby. The room seemed stuffy and so we had to use the AC even though it was cool outside. This hotel is in an excellent location, very near the subway and within walking distance of old Montreal. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I'm not sure if it had free WiFi or not, but it had a computer in the lobby where one could use the internet. The parking was nearby and very secure. The free breakfast was decent, though we would have liked to have had a better selection of cereal (namely something with fiber.)The room was large, especially the kitchen. The hotel is not particularly attractive and is on a busy street corner, but it was clean and met our needs. The room seemed awfully warm at night and so we had to run the AC even though it was cool outside. I would definitely consider staying at this hotel again and would recommend it to others so long as they aren't looking for something very quaint or beautiful.

They have nice little suites with fully equiped kitchens and the cost of the hotel also include a continental breakfast. Low cost and very nice

If you want location at a good price, stay here. Super clean and really good continental breaky. Our only grumble was a little too noisy at night (doors slamming etc.), but what the heck, this is as downtown Montreal as your going to get. Loved it. P.S. Take advantage of optional parking facitlities. Parking costs, but it's secure and well worth it!!!!!

The hotel I stayed at was very convenient to Ste Catherine St. & although it was the middle of winter, it wasn't a bad walk. The noise was unacceptable, doors slamming & people talking in hallways with paper thin walls. Fire alarm went off at 8:30 AM one morning (false alarm). Overall, wouldn't recommend if you're looking for rest

The restaurant had a full breakfast with friendly staff. The parking wasn't included and I was only given 1 double bed when I asked for 2. The hotel had a complementary breakfast which was very good. Despite having to pay for parking, everything else was ok with the room. It was clean, besides one large spider which wouldn't die. The location was perfect for what I was there to see in Montreal.

Front desk staff extremely friendly and real, no phony niceties. Knowledge of nearby businesses. There was nothingI did not like. Very nice small hotel in the middle of downtown montreal. One block from metro station. excellent staff and comfortable room with everything for the casual leisure traveller. You can't go wrong by staying at this hotel.

Location to downtown Montreal was very good. Bare bones room. I would stay here again, but I don't need a lot from a hotel except cleanliness, heat/AC, and hot water. This hotel had all of those.
