We booked this place for the view. It has a great view of the Amalfi Coast looking down on the Amalfi marina and part of the town (most is obscured by the hillside). The big downer is that this place is 300 steps down the mountain from your parking location. We made the mistake of trying to tote 2 suitcases plus a daypack down there. The operator lady offered and did carry one of the suitcases down the steps for my wife which was very nice of her. In the morning you have to return up the 300 steps and the operator arranged for a man to carry the suitcase out for my wife again. This went beyond our expectations and was much appreciated!The parking for our car ended up being "shared" with a large hotel which is not entirely clear if it has been pre-arranged or being used unknown by the hotel. When I spoke to the hotel they indicated parking was to be along the street but we were instructed by the B&B that along the driveway into the hotel was ok. Nothing happened, no one complained so all ended up fine. I would have preferred that they have a more "official" parking area and that it was closer to the B&B.The room was adequate but not as nice as any of the other places we stayed in for about the same price. The shower was teeny. I am average size adult and could hardly move once inside it without banging into the sides. I suggest they upgrade the shower size to fit an adult person better. Breakfast was a European average of breads, cakes, packaged toast, juice, coffee/tea, served out on the patio with a great view. Overall we felt it is overpriced. It has a nice view and would be a recommended B&B if not for the 300 steps and parking situation. If you opt to put what you need into one bag and leave the luggage in the car and are up to a small hike of steps then this may be a good option for you.

This hotel has the most wonderful views. The family are very welcoming and being a small hotel they help make your stay feel special. The rooms are very comfortable and clean with excellent air conditioning (very much needed). There were nice points of detail such as plenty of leaflets on the area, a well stocked mini bar with very reasonable prices etc. The only thing lacking in the room was a hairdryer. Others need to be aware that the hotel can only be accessed via 300 steps from a hotel higher up. These are extremely steep and would not be advisable for anyone with mobiity or health problems or for young children. There is an excellent and value for money bus service to and from the town centre which stops next to the 300 steps. You can also walk down from the hotel to the harbour - again via many more steps - takes about 20 minutes but again this is strenuous.
