Second time visit and still as good as the first time.

Great hotel on the edge of the business district.

Le Meridien King Edward had some of the nicest staff members I have ever met while vacationing HOWEVEVR, the hotel was a Starwood disappointment. The carpet in the hallways was coming up, the rooms were not at all what they looked like in the pictures on-line, the ceiling tiles in the bathrooms were brown with mold or some other substance, the phone would not dial the front desk or room service, the bell hop got lost going from the curb to check in. My what a joke!

We slept well during one of the busiest week-ends of the year (gay pride parade). The concierge were extremely helpful and gave excellent touring recommendations. The restaurant is good, although expensive.

Well, the room was a bit small 600 sq feet but the location was perfect for everything me and my partner wanted to do for our first trip to Toronto. Subway stop is very close and the staff are very accommodating. I did not like that my room record had someone else's name on it and I was referred to that person subsequently until the last day of my stay. The bed could have been better too. For a king size bed, it was a bit worn and the furniture in the room did not meet my expectation. I recommend the hotel to those wanting to stay close to everything in Toronto.

The room size was great. The decorations were a little outdated.

Staying at the King Edward for 8 nights was a treat. The staff is friendly, yet professional; the rooms are good; it has a very good fitness center; and, the location is great. We loved the whole experience.

I chose this hotel because of the convenient location to area attractions and nearby subway station. I was overall pleased with the size and comfort of the room. The staff was friendly and the service was excellent. I highly recommend staying here.

I was up on the 8th floor on the east side of the building and I heard the band playing at a bar in the alley till about 1am. So if you get a room on the eastside of the building hope your a night owl on Fridays and Saturdays.

Stayed during Christmas. I can say the location is great, couple of blocks away from the heart of the shopping area and estern center. There are several other neat smaller viliage-like area close by, with little cute little shops. The room itself is large, the bathroom is on the smaller side. The carpet is old though, it is for sure an older hotel. However, I enjoyed the grand entrance,--- it reminded me of the name of the hotel. In general the service were good. But I was astonished to find in some occassions the front desk can be rude--- A lady with shoulder long gray hair chose not to look at me and kept her sentence short the whole time when I exchanged currency, making me feel I didn't deserve her service... huh.

Conference - Very good service and price was right with the fly plus hotel program offered by Orbitz.

Don't ever agree to stay in a smoking room. The smell of cheap cigarettes is way worse than you think. They told us I reserved a smoking room, but I don't even think that's possible online. The room was a little dark and not that clean. It did have a nice TV and the staff was very helpful. But overall, it didn't seem worth the price.

A very classy hotel with a convenient downtown location. Spectacular lobby, great bar and a terrific restaurant. The staff was polite and helpful. The room was very nice. Not quite up to the standards you might expect, but perfectly acceptable. All in all, the "KIng Eddie" is a wonderful hotel...and priced right!

Lovely hotel--good location, good amenities. My room was very pretty, the bed was very comfortable and the bed linens were all cotton and very soft. The room had an alarm clock that also had an iPod docking station which is a nice detail. The front desk was extremely friendly, the staff in the bar in the hotel were also friendly--even recommended local beers to try. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, especially if I get the kind of deal that I got!

According to thier staff, they do not guarantee rooms booked through the internet (including an online travel website ). The manager could care less that they would not honor the room I booked with them trough online travel website . They put me in a room that was less than I needed and had confirmed. The hotel is old and the rooms need maintenance. I'm sure there are many hotels in the area that are better with a staff that cares about keeping their promise. I traveled with my family and friends. Since there was only one bed in the room, I slept in a cot! I would have gone to another hotel if it had just be me and my family. I'm surprised that online travel website does business with them considering thier policy on internet booking. Be careful, you may not get what you ask for.
