I stayed at the hotel a couple of days, and enjoyed it very much. The hotel is roomy, clean, and comfortable. The reception staff is friendly and helpful, but the concierge was really tops, and I wished there were more like him in the hotel business. The proximity to the main train station is very convenient, but there are some dubious characters walking around. I would gladly stay there again.

I did not hesitate to choose the Le Meridien from the Orbitz list since I had great experience with Le Meridien in the past. It is new, clean and conviniently located hotel. A lots of designers elements a decorations create a high-tech fashionable athmosphere. The only negative issue is that somehow somewhere the Munich's Le Meridien is giving up in a sense of being a Grande Hotel. Even Sofitel in Munich looks little bit a notch higher in presentation. Otherwise - it is great place to stay in Munich

Friendly staff, large room on top floor, very clean. Friendly staff, large room on top floor, very clean, staff spoke English, stone's throw from the train station.

I had a horrible experience with another hotel in Munich and checked out and then went to Le Meridien. My night got SO much better when I arrived at Le Meridien! The hotel is modern, luxurious, and the rooms are super spacious, clean and indulgently comfortable. All in all, a fantastic hotel in a great, central location. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful rooms, close to train station. On of the best I've stayed in while in Germany--and I've been in Germany quite a lot.

The location is great and interior stylish. Parking for 20 Euros per day. Next to the railway station this hotel is conveniently located to all public transportation and very close to the center attractions of Munich. The modern design and decoration is appealing. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Checked out of another hotel due to low quality. Cannot say enough regarding our high level of satisifaction with this hotel. Large rooms and blessed AC! A little pricey, but well worth it

We enjoyed our one night stay in this hotel. The hotel was beautiful, the rooms very comfortable. The location across from the train station was ideal for our one night stay in the city. It was close to many sight seeing areas. We arrived before check-in time and they did not hesitate to get us a room.

Largest LCD TV I've ever had in a hotel (42" or 46") and easily the best and newest looking washroom of my European trip. Deceptively long walk to room from elevator; mattress and bed spread could have been more luxurious. Very conveniently located across from Munich's main train station on the Bayerstrasse side, with friendly doorman and desk staff. Room size was decent by American standards, TV incredibly large (biggest LCD I've had in a room) although not much to watch on it and washroom far superior to any other I've had in a European hotel yet (granite counter, separate shower and even the tiles looked new). Room included a large electronic safe that memorized my code between openings, a bar fridge, high-end toiletries and free slippers, plus a complimentary glass bottle of water. All rooms also include a Juliet balcony for overlooking the street or courtyard.

unfortunately the very reasons we chose this hotel were for the pool, the fitness center and the star rating. my husband and i were nearing the end of a four month around the world tour and were so much looking forward to the amenities that the le meridien munich had to offer, but we were not able to use any of these facilities because they were ALL under construction! the pool, the fitness center and the bar were all at the same time undergoing renovation! they tried to make a fitness "room" on the floor we were staying, it consisited of one bike, one treadmill and a tv that would not work, not even with the help of the hotel staff! so we were offered the pool and the hotel spa services from across the street at the sofitel- which was exactly what we had expected, very nice and pleasing (but we had to put on our winter coats and hats just to get to the pool because it was across the street and it was very cold out!). we had such high exptectations of our stay at le meridien munich, because we had stayed at another starwood facility, the westin in kyoto, japan, during our around the world tour I( and this was all it promised and then some). unfortunately, the le meridien munich let us down the most during our four month tour, and we stayed at everything from hostels in peru to 5 star hotels and resorts. our expectations simply were not met and our idea of a nice, pampering and relaxing stay in munich did not transpire.

Staff made me feel welcome, room was clean and pleasant. Everything was great for the amount of time I spent there. The hotel is very central and easily accessible from the city's airport. It is close to the main points of interest for tourists and in a safe area. I had a very pleasant stay: room was comfortable and clean, staff was friendly and efficient, and I had no problem at all with noise or anything like that. I thoroughly recommend it, particularly for business travel.

This was our second stay at Le Meridian and we enjoyed it just as much as our first stay a year ago. The staff is friendly and we were delighted that the bellman remembered us from our first visit! The lobby and rooms are modern yet comfortable. We had a rollaway bed in our room for our 4-year old son and still had plenty of room to manuever around our king bed. Le Meridian is located right across from the train station which is great for picking up a quick meal or a bottle of water. Its an easy walk from the hotel into the city center full of shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay there again when our travels lead us back to Munich!

Convenient location for Munich city center. Business hotel, somewhat lacking the personality that we would have like for a vacation.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff with wonderful rooms, gorgeous courtyard and excellent facilities. The hot tub closed too early, it closed at 9 and would have been perfect after a long day. My wife and I stayed for our first and last nights in Munich on a two week European vacation. Our luggage didn't make it and the Concierge was extremely helpful and called the airlines repeatedly. They also were able to guide us through the city and give us some excellent suggestions for sightseeing. The room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. They were also located directly across from the Main Train station which was extremely convenient. Excellent hotel with phenomenal staff. Well done.

The concierge was extremely helpful with sightseeing around the city. We really liked this hotel, and will stay again on another visit. The location is very convenient, directly across from the train station. It is about a ten minute walk from the city center and shopping.

Perfect location to get around Munich fast. When asking about long distance rates, the front desk could not tell me the cost until after making the call. We can't wait to return to the le meridian Munich.

Hotel quality is excellent. It is within walking distance to the Marienplatz. Quality of services were excellent. Rooms have big plasma TV's. The channel selection for English is not that good and the movie rental is quite expensive. To get to the main area of town it is about 10 to 15 minutes of walking. To me that is quite good. There a lot of little restaurants around the hotel.

Very good restaurant and very comfortable room. Neighborhood around hotel is quite seedy and the lobby full of smokers. To its merit, this hotel has a very good restaurant with very friendly staff who remembered my wife and me. The room was very clean and comfortable. Also, I felt I had to hold my breath whenever walking through the clouds of cigarette smoke in the lobby. It was carcinogen central! In fact, Munich is quite filthy with the litter of discarded cigarette butts everywhere! I also disliked the ridiculous fees charged for internet access.
