Excellent hotel and a perfect location. Staff were excellent and helpful in every way. Hotel met our expectations. We did not have breakfast as at €29.00 a person we felt it was excessive. Found a perfectly suitable restaurant 4 minutes walk with freshly squeezed orange juice, bacon and eggs, bread and coffee for €8.00 per person. Other meals we had in restaurants around Budapest. So cant comment on the hotel food.

Very conveniently located hotel however not that convenient if you are arriving by car. The car parking is at the next hotel you have to ask for a magnetic card every time you need to use your car which is annoying. Parking itself is very expensive. The breakfast buffet is very expensive and average compared to other hotels.

This is a fantastic hotel, the best one we stayed in our travels. It is spacious, the mattress was incredibly comfortable. The spa facitlities were a real bonus after a long day sightseeing. The only drawback is the pricy breakfast, but I would stay here again without any hesitations and recommend it to my friends.

Generally superior hotel in an ideal central location. Rooms impressive, service immaculate, staff very friendly. Laundry services atypically cheap, but breakfast overpriced. Excellent if expensive restaurant. Would definitely use again given the right deal on price, but might walk out for breakfast.

I guess you can't expect any more from a 5 star hotel. It was worth it to stay there for a few nights during my trip around Europe and have a room with all its facilities.

Excellent location - wonderful hotel. Room was clean and spacious. There were always lots of staff available in the lobby and they were extremely helpful. Pool and jacuzzi clean and inviting. Airport minibus transfer service was excellent.

We found the Meridien to be excellent in every way during our stay. In particular we found the concierge to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable in organising tickets for the Opera House, advising on Restaurnts, in general in making suggestions for tours, sightseeing, using thermal spas etc. Only minor criticism was the cost of the excellent breakfast which we felt was somewhat overpriced. We would recommend the Le Meridien Hotel Budapest without any hesitation. Location is fantastic for restaurants, shopping, transport, sightseeing etc.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff - hotel is very centrally located and makes exploring budapest easy, especially as the central subway terminus is outside the front door!

Arrived late on friday night, staff on that evening were not over helpful when we asked for directions for restaurants/bars. Throughout the stay we didn't have any need to ask reception for anything. The bar staff were friendly and helpful, although the bar closed at 1'0 clock and any drinks after that were charged at room service rates. The rooms were well equipped It was good to see there was a tea station , alot of hotels don't have them forcing you order a coffee through room service. Great location though. would recommend to anyone.

This is a wonderful hotel -- the rooms are quite nice as is the whole facility. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel location is ideal relative to shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing as well as for metro and bus and tram connections. I would stay here again without question.

Nice Hotel. Excellent bed...very confortable mattress. Very surprised by the lack of info in the room about Budapest....and also extremely surprised to see escort info all over the map instead of historic places to visit...

We enjoyed a 7 day stay in Budapest - had a great holiday - hotel was rather takenover during the week by business people who looked incredibly scruffy in the evening - but can't complain as they are keeping the hotel going - Thought that the food was very good - staff very freindly and helpful !!
