One of the most elegant from the Meridien chain. This hotel is most convenient for the one who arrive by train, all you have to do walk 100 meters. It is central and close to everything. It is clean, very comfortable, and very elegant. La grand place is a 3-minute walk. The only set back was the construction in front of the hotel

Great location and friendly staff. Very attentive staff who were eager to please. The room was clean and we upgraded very easily.

Decent location. AC was not working. The pillows were thin and synthetic. A request for down pillows was made and we were informed they did not have down pillows in the hotel. The bed was a bit uncomfortable. We enjoy a cold room and lowered the temperature, but the room remained very warm.

Great location; upgraded room. Train advice for travel to another country was not good. Great location steps from central train station and Grand Place.

Very stylish, great location. Small room, not much sound insulation. The location is right in the center of the old town, but because the room was so small, and not very well insulated for sound. I wouldn't consider if a 4-star hotel.

Concierge desk was outstanding for restaurants. I would stay in a Meridian Hotel anywhere in the world. Very impressed.

Very convenient, very nice staff. The convenience to the metro and La Place. The hotel was very nice, clean; the staff was helpful and friendly. The location was awesome. You did not need a cab from airport. The metro station was right across the street from hotel and the restaurants, shops and LaPlace were right there.

Location. The room provided was very far from the elevators and the view was bad. These rooms also have not much of a view and little light sometimes. I wish the hotels didn't do this.

Great amenities, modern bathroom. Cost of internet. Very nice hotel in fantastic location right across street from central station. Walking distance to old city. Room very nice, bathroom modern. Would stay here again.

Nice location for sightseeing. In need of renovation. I enjoyed our stay here, but wouldn't call it five star. The rooms seemed a bit out of date, and the amenities available didn't seem like five star level.

Convenient location, excellent room decor and linens. Exorbitant charge for internet service. Very convenient (across street from railroad station, where there is express train to airport) and walking distance from Grand Place. Helpful staff and luxurious room.

Very convenient to train station. Nothing. Loved this hotel, great price, excellent staff!

Unbeatable location across from the central station, very elegant hotel with attentive staff. The shower water temperature control did not really work.

Excellent location and value. The hotel was wonderfully situated across from the train station yet very quiet. The major sights are in easy walking distance and there are excellent, affordable restaurants nearby. We did not eat at the hotel as the food was rather pricey. Overall an excellent value for a truly 5 star hotel.

Very central, metro station across the road, good restaurant and bar. Building noise at 8.00 a.m. Very conveniently located to restaurants, key tourist spots and public transport. Staff speak excellent English and French and were very helpful. The only thing that marred my stay was drilling and banging noise at 8 a.m.

Excellent location. Would think this would be better classified as 3-4 stars than 5. Location was fantastic. Very short walk to city center and Centraal Station (i.e., shuttle to the airport). While the size of the room was great, the interior however could use some work...specifically beds/linens..

Central location, clean rooms, everything is in working order. Staff is not very pleasant, no 5-star feel. This is not a five star hotel. Maybe a good four star rating can be given to it. It's nice and clean and big. It's ok, just not pleasant to hear we cannot upgrade your room because you booked a low level room. Overall, a nice 4-star hotel, there's definitely no 5-star feeling there.
