Great location and nicely decorated. The service was good and the staff was friendly even despite our broken French. Would recommend and would use the hotel when we return to the beautiful city of love.

Bed and pillows were comfortable. Room was beat up and out-dated.

We stayed here as part of a 1-week Air France package tour. This hotel offers every service imaginable and is priced accordingly. It is the largest single hotel in Paris, and for many years was the largest (i.e., total number of rooms) hotel in Europe. I cannot find any fault with this hotel or its facilities. However, the price we paid for the tour package, which included airport bus transfers (which were at the European congress bldg.) and roundtrip airfare to JFK, was less than the cost of just the 6 nights at the hotel at its current daily rate. If you are booking your hotel separately, I'm sure you can find much less expensive rooms, with the same level of service, elsewhere in Paris.

My sister has fear of the tunnel entering NYC from Jersey. She was so happy to take the ferry from NJ to NYC. We had our your grandchildren with us, and they were facinated with the ferry ride viewing the Manhatten skyline. This was my second time staying at the Weehawkin Sheraton, and I will definitely return. I was a little hesitiate with bringing my sister and neice as they are very particular, but they really enjoyed their stay, I believe they will also return to this Sheraton when they visit NYC>

My husband and I tried to pack every touristy thing into our 7 day trip! As a result, we were running around the city from 9 am to about 6 pm each day. We were SO HAPPY that we spent the extra $$ and stayed at a nicer hotel; we stayed in a deluxe room. The room, bed, bathroom were all amazing. It was SO nice after we ran all over the city all day to come back to a comfortable bed/room. The hotel was a very short walk from a metro and RER station so I would say that it was a great location. There are also several restaurants on the same street. The BEST restaurant we ate at was just down the street from the hotel; its called Leon's and it is know for their mussels. I never had mussels before and I love them now! There are brought it fresh every day (we passed by the truck each morning on the way to the metro station). We could also walk to the Arc of Triumph and Champs Elysees. It was not a short walk but we aren't afraid of walking a bit. Tip #1: BUY THE MUSEUM PASS!! We purchased a museum pass from CDG airport and it saved us time and money. With the Museum Pass we skipped several lines and went right into the museums. Tip #2: buy the roundtrip shuttle pass from the airport to Le Meridian, its 24 Euros. Its much easier than taking the RER and then a bus to the airport. Tip #3: buy a metro pass (Paris Visite Pass). We bought one for 6 days and for all 6 zones (we went to the Palace of Versailles which is in zone 6). The pass was about 49 Euros but worth it; if you aren't going to Versailles you can probably get the pass for zones 1-3 for about 29 Euros. Tip #4: exchange your $ before you go, it is much easier. I have Bank of America and I simply ordered the currency online and in 2 days it was shipped to my house. Then we didn't have to worry about exchanging $ in Paris. And forget traveler cheques, another nuisance. For amazing shopping go to Marais (its a lil town on the outskirts of Paris, but still in Paris). It has several chic boutique shops that I loved! They

Concierges excellent. Near public transport. Difficult getting in and out of tub; need grab bar. With this second stay, we have spent a total of 23 nights at this hotel and could not be more pleased with every aspect of the property and its location.

The room was more than adequate and the furnishings were very nice and clean. The service was just the "best" from advice on getting a shuttle to the airport to exchanging my dollars for euros. (no service fee). I was traveling with only my grandaughter and I felt safe and comfortable. Also, shopping was just across the street and so was the metro. Really liked LeMeridien Etoile and I would stay again.

Le Meridien Etoile, was a very comfortable hotel. The location was fantastic, we were able to enjoy many of tourist attractions by walking to them which saved us money. There were many restaruants close by to choose from and the overall location felt very safe to walk around in the evening.

Convenient location. Terrible staff attitude. We were given a room without working lights. Yes - working lights! 2 Days without lights and they did zero. And I somehow incurred a charge without using any services - no Internet (it wasn't functional in the room) and no food (we called but after 10 rings, gave up). This hotel is beyond terrible.

Fantastic location - metro, bus and train (to Versailles) 1/2 block away, on main metro line that goes to the Louvre. Loved this hotel and would stay there again happily. Friendly, helpful, great service. This kind of hotel will feel familiar and comfortable to Americans - we had a view of the Eiffel Tower from our room. Free computer to use on 8th floor. Loved the location - lots of great nearby restaurants and the Air France bus stopped right across the street so it is so easy to get there and back to the airport. Train to Versailles is just down the street. Metro line 1 is a stone's throw away. Great grocery store across the street.

Location, jazz club andstaff. It is a very nice hotel, as long as you get a deluxe room, as the standard rooms are entirely outdated, with wall paper falling off the walls, beds that are entirely uncomfortable. However, after 3 trips to the reception, and moving to 3 different rooms, we finally were put in a room that was comfortable. The Jazz club provides outstanding evening entertainment. The location of the hotel is perfect for shopping, and incredible French cuisine.

Modernandclean design. Restaurant choices were minimal. A beautiful hotel right across from the Palais de Congress. Location is fantastic, staff is friendly, and the rooms were modern and clean.

The lobby area and bar was great as was the service from the concierge. The room was not up tostandards, not even close. The room service and mini-bar prices are definitely set up for business travelers who can expense such things as the prices were extraordinary even by Parisian standards. The hotel is on an Air France Coach stop to-from Charles de Gaule Airport which is convenient.

Very easy to work with and comfortable. The location was too far away from the neighborhoods we were looking for. It is a fine hotel with plenty of amenities. The hotel is a little off the path where we were going, but still VERY accessible.
