Located in the middle of a tropical garden, the Layana Resort & Spa hotel is designed to harmonize perfectly with the natural surroundings, the resort consists of low-rise, contemporary Thai-style buildings that combine spaciousness with an open, cool and natural ambience. Facilities include a lobby with 24-hour reception and a currency exchange. In addition, the air-conditioned hotel includes bars and restaurants. The library includes books, magazines, newspapers and Internet access. It serves coffee, juices, ice creams and freshly baked pastries and cakes. Conference facilities are also available for events and parties. The 82m² conference room can hold up to 60 guests for cocktail receptions (standing), up to 40 seated places in theatre style, 33 guests in classroom style and 26 persons in a u-shape formation. The facilities include audiovisual equipment, flipcharts, overhead projectors, white boards, TV, video and broadband Internet. A laundry service rounds off the hotel's amenities.

The exclusive boutique Layana Resort & Spa is located on the west coast of Koh Lanta Yai, by Phra-Ae beach. Facing a 3-km stretch of fine white sandy beach, the hotel is set against a picturesque backdrop of forested hills. Koh Lanta Yai lies on the coast of the Krabi province, on the shores of the Andaman Sea of southern Thailand and is 27 km long and 12 km wide. Therefore, it is the longest of the 15 islands in the group which makes up the Koh Lanta National Marine Park. As one of the exclusive havens of luxury, the resort and spa aims to offer the ultimate in individualized service. Guests have the opportunity to experience the idyllic island world, far from the pressures of the city. The hotel provides 50 rooms offering 49 sq m of living space located in 11 two-storey units, each with four guestrooms, nestled within landscaped gardens, balcony, minibar, desk, safe,satellite and multi-lingual TV channels, DVD-player, wireless-internet access, telephone, air conditioning, ceiling fan, bathroom with bathtube and shower.

The hotel offers one salted water pool plus one jaccuzzi pool. Spa treatments at Linger Longer Spa plus sauna and jaccuzzi. Fitness room, kayaks, katamaran and beach volley free of use. Mountain bikes and motor bikes can be rented.

Tides restaurant is a formal restaurant, which offers an a la carte selection of international cuisine, as well as Asian dishes and seafood specialities. The menu quality is fully matched by the excellence of the wine list. Guests have the opportunity to choose between sitting in the cool interior or outside by the beach. There is space for up to 52 guests inside and 24 persons are able to sit outside. Breakfast is served from 7am to 10 am. Lunch is served in the restaurant from 11.30 am to 2 pm and evening meals are offered from 6pm to 10 pm. Sunsets can be enjoyed from the beach, making it the perfect location for a cool drink and evening cocktails. There is seating for up to 32 persons and the bar is open from 10am to 10pm. During the high season (from November to April), the transportation consists of a 50 min drive from Krabi airport to Baan Hua Hin pier by minivan followed by a 20 min scenic ride along the coast of Koh Lanta Yai on Layana's private speedboat. From May to October, the resort operates roundtrip transfer by land transport only.
