Overview:
The Laurel Point Inn Victoria is located on a peninsula park on the Inner Harbour of Victoria. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful trees and gardens, and it is quieter than many of the hotels in town, although it isn’t very far from Victoria’s city center and all the attractions visitors find there.
Because it is near downtown, many of Laurel Point Inn Victoria’s guests walk around Victoria, but others get around by personal car or the bus system.
This hotel has 135 regular rooms and 65 suites. All rooms includes such amenities as bath robes, mini refrigerators, safes, complementary coffee and tea, high-speed Internet, CD players, and on-demand movies. The Laurel Point Inn Victoria’s suites and studio suites all include balconies with views of the water.
This hotel features plenty of business rooms where seminars and meetings are often held. The Laurel Point Inn Victoria, a smoke-free facility, also offers its guests an indoor pool, which is situated just next to a patio overlooking the Outer Harbour and a Japanese garden, and underground parking for its guests.

We stayed here on business and pleasure trip. First time to Victoria. As we travel a lot we expected a much nicer room (we got a room in the "original" section of the hotel) for a very high price. An upgrade to the nicer side was $$$$. View was obstructed by trees and one had to climb over the window sill to get to the balcony which had no chair or other seating. Only plus was that the hotel was close to the ferry terminal. We'll NOT be returning as there were other much nicer places to stay!

Rooms are clean modern. You pay a premium for a harbour view. The nice view rooms are not available on the internet.

It was in a convenient location, close to the inner harbor, with spectacular views from my apartment window.

We had reservations and got to the rooms that faced some trees and another hotel across the harbour. The rooms were very dated, including a 19" tv that had a remote control adapter on the side of it. Just bad feeling room. I went and ask about the other rooms on the newer side and was told I could pay a difference of about $*** a room, which is about double what we reserved. Just wanted to let others know to be careful and ask for the new side of hotel. One good thing is it is a close walk to inner harbour, but there are other hotels there that are closer. GOOD LUCK

The rooms in the new wing are amazing. They are spacious, beautifully designed and incredibily comfortable. The bathroom is spectacular. The view, however, is beyond beautiful. Every staff member was extremely nice and very helpful. The location can't be beat. You are within walking distance of the main dowtown area and fisherman's wharf where you can see the houseboats and feed the seals. Great hotel by any standards.

It's wonderfully located. I really expected a larger and nicer room - the hotel is hugely overpriced in my estimation. Wonderfully located but quite rudimentary for the price.

A two night get-away for wife and me. Our room overlooked the Inner Harbour and the Japanese Garden. Wonderful king bed with the most comfy blanket I've ever slept under. Room was clean and bright. Hotel was just about empty. Hot tub was not working. Short walk from ferry terminal.

The views. Room/price ratio. Rooms are small. Parking is not free. Upgrades to a larger room are too much. For the price we paid we could have easily stayed at a better hotel such as the Fairmont.

My seven days at the Inn at Laurel Point were outstanding! Service was excellent, the room was inviting, soothing, and tastefully decorated. The view from my room was astounding--directly overlooking the Inner Harbor with its changing scenes! The float planes and U.S. ferries glide within 100-feet of the hotel, but you can't hear them. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for the perfect place to sightsee and relax in Victoria.

Water views, friendly staff. No complaints (do have approx a 10 min. Walk to town which could be a little wet in windy, inclement weather. Great water views, (an upgrade gives wonderful views) comfortable beds, nicely furnished, clean, friendly staff, wonderful cocktail lounge (right on water).

Great location. Couldn't find a valet! This hotel is in a great location right on the water on the inner harbor. A very nice hotel, however, there was no newspapers at your doorstep every morning, you need to go the bar to get a bottle of water, the gift shop only sells gifts - no snacks, couldn't get a cup of coffee in the evening except in the bar. A very nice hotel but without the little extras one expects to find in a very nice hotel.

Location excellent. Lacked color. Seemed like needed some upkeep. Halls dark, dreary. Fake flowers on entrance table. Seemed to be struggling. Some repair needed on our ceiling. Needs something.
