I am so glad I picked the Laurel Inn for my recent trip to San Francisco. It was located perfectly to pick up buses, an easy area to walk around to get to cafes and shops, and had the convenience of use of a gym right across the street. My room was very large. There were so many cafes and restaurants in that area and a more than adequate continental breakfast spread in the lobby from 6-10 each morning. Coffee was available 24hrs a day too (and hot cookies in the afternoon). The Inn was in the right part of town for my purposes. Check out where it is located, and if that is the right end of town for you, I highly recommend it!!! I will definitely stay there again.

My son lives nearby so the location was ideal. Self parking - covered - easy in and out - modest price ($15 a night) compared to $50 a night parking charge at Nob Hill establishments. Upgraded to city view room (interior) at check-in due to window washers on street side.

I chose this hotel because it is close to my business event. The hotel was easy to get to, the rooms clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. I love the part of San Francisco where the hotel is located. There are many excellent restaurants in the area, good shops, and it is close to Golden Gate park for walking."

Everything here was fine...our room was noisy from the street sounds, but it is an urban area. Next time we'll ask for another floor. There is no diningroom. The Continental Breakfast is served in a very small lobby but with the restaurant across the street that serves great, HUGE, American style breakfasts there are no complaints.

Bed. The bathroom shower and there was no pay per view movies. The area the hotel is nice for strolling, the bed was comfortable and although I had a room facing the street the mini bus was not too loud. The staff was friendly, I would have liked to have pay per view movies available.

The location & neighborhood was excellent. It was modernly decorated and a nice atmosphere. It was a small place. Everything was small. The building was old and it showed. I would recommend this hotel to friends. The location was great and the staff was very friendly. The rooms were neat and modern. But it was a small place and there was some old age showing. The price was good. I may stay there again someday.

Location. Very dated and not clean. The hotel is in desperate need of updating and cleaning along with heat. Very depressing.

Our room was very large. We really liked the spaciousness. The lobby seemed small to me. We only needed a place to sleep after a night of parties on Christmas Eve. The Laurel Inn was perfect for it and in a very good location. Close to bus lines, so we didn't have to scrounge for a cab. I heard live music at the bar, but we didn't go in. We really appreciated the late check-out at Noon!

The friendliness and helpfulness of the desk personnel. Room picked up a lot of the street noise. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and the hotel wasn't far from the Union Square and the bus to ride down there was just across the street. Easy getting around the city on the bus. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Very clean and convenient. Good Italian restaurant one block away. Got two standard beds instead of queen/king that I asked for. Good experience. Would definitely stay again. Your Internet service stated parking was free. Hotel now charges $15.00 for parking. They did not charge us when we asked them about the parking.

I enjoyed the amenities and friendliness of the staff. The room I stayed in was clean and very nice. I thoroughly enjoyed the location. I expected it to have a microwave and refrigerator, but there was not. I enjoyed the amenities and friendliness of the staff. The room I stayed in was very clean, with a modern sophistication. The location is great, being only two or three blocks from Presidio. I woke early and took a walk with my daughter, then returned to the hotel for breakfast.

I liked the proximity of the hotel in regard to golden gate park, museums and beaches. Having the car available whenever we wanted it was a real plus. The desk staff were not very friendly. They would answer questions but only because it seemed they had to. A clean, reasonable hotel with no frills. The included covered parking is a definite plus--the car is accessible at all times. Close to golden gate park, museums, and beaches. The neighborhood was quiet and a nice change from downtown. Spend the extra money for the city view--it's worth it. A nice continental breakfast, with an assortment to choose from. The coffee was very good.
