there wasnt an ocean view.

Windows were dirty. Hadn't been washed in 10 years. The concierge was the rudest person. Go there just to meet him. I would rather sleep in the car. Across the street from the Ocean, but there was a 50' wide path that would get you to the ocean. Don't waste your time going to this hotel.

Great welcome when we arrived to book-in, and a very helpful concierge, but some room staff clearly had attitude. The restaurant staff were fine, but the restaurant was pretty basic, and badly needed a freshen-up. Cutlery repeatedly contaminated as it had not been properly washed. Location was good, with a great beach, and nearby restaurants. We would not rush back to this hotel, although it's OK for a short stay.

The place is old....creepy, mouldy, bath rooms are ugly, there is NO wireless in the rooms. They lie about the free wireless in rooms. Food in the restaurant is chicken strips, fried and some more. The receptionist girls are ...this place is awful!

I spent four nights in the hotel and found everything i needed less than a ten minute walk away, over ten great restaurants to choose from, captain Tim runs a great snorkel and scuba shop on hotel premises, The tiki bar was fantastic, The hotel is an older one, but my room was as clean as possibly, maid service everyday, the entire staff was exceptionally helpfull, not sure what else to say, i had a great stay and will definitly be back as soon as possible .

The first room we got was full of mold all over the walls. Once we went down to the front desk we were able to change rooms to another one. The second room was a little better at least no mold. The room was large and once we asked for the control for the tv and the comforter for the bed it was all good. The tub was a little rusty but no big deal. The hotel is an old hotel but in pretty good shape. The pool is small. Had a great bar downstairs and lunch by the grill.

Near the beach. Very worn down. Not very good at all, only thing is the place, near the beach.

Hotel was close to beach. Room was clean, quiet. There was wireless connection in the main lobby or at the bar but I could not connect in the room. The main desk was very helpful. The restaurant had good food for breakfast as I ate lunch and super elsewhere because there are so many places to eat. The hotel in general needed work as it looked tired but it served my purpose for business. Pool area was clean. I would stay there again if I was able to get the same rate.

It met my needs. The rooms are comfortable, great distant from the ocean only across the street. I would stay there again.

The staff at the hotel was top notch which matched the great food. We also had for room service which was great too. The hotel is very close distance to the beach, and the heated pool is available when we wanted to stay out of the sand. The hotel dive shop was very reasonable and the staff taught us how to snorkel. The staff at the dive shop was great about telling us where to go to see the most underwater life. Iwill stay there again and recommend it to my friends. Our family can't wait to come next year!

The room was ok for the price, but could use some serious TLC. The tub in our room was horrendous and showering was impossible. Pics on-line are mis-leading; it is not located directly on the beach but rather a block away; i.e. their are no beach views as they claim. Overall for the location and price it was 'ok'

Not too much. Filthy rooms with mold. Soiled linen. Only 1 bath towel. This hotel needs renovations soon. It has terrible bathrooms with mold in almost every corner. The rooms furniture was mostly tattered or broken as well the bedding was soiled or had smoke burns. Holiday inn should be embarrassed.

Three star hotel, being run like a four star hotel. Excellent location to the beach. The neighborhood has lots of class. Just two blocks north there is a town square with excellent restaurants on weekends the town closes the streets and they set up a stage with live jazz music. they even upgraded us with an ocean view with balcony. Sweet.

we were very disappointed in the front desk ladies... both were "very" rude.. at check out the gentleman was very nice to bad we had the deal with the other two. rooms were clean and housekeeping persons were very polite and helpful with directions. hotel was not like pictures at all. hotel was older and lots of little things wearn around the edges. location ! location ! location ! was the key for us.. the greek resturant up the street was awesome, food the best. beach great, and very close.

This hotel is a great place to bring friends and family. The prices are great and the staff is fantastic! You can walk right a across the street to the beach and outstanding snorkeling on a live reef just of shore to swim to. I enjoyed the pool bar and live music as well. One other thing I liked was the fact that it is close to everything like drug stores and super markets, also night life, but you are in kind of a small town too, where you can walk to the beach and every where. I felt that the price I paid for what I got, was well worth my money. That is hard to find these days. I will tell all my friends to stay here when in Fort Lauderdale and I will definitely be back!

The hotel room was dirty and in disrepair. The TV didn't work. No refrigerator. The toilet was missing the top of the tank. Noisy and low-class guests. Checked out early and moved to a better hotel.

Nothing. Mold in Bathrooms. Doors that don't lock, elevators, furniture, filthy blankets, broken shower stall with molded water coming through. Smells terrible. Holiday inn needs to evaluate this property immediately. It was not up to any franchise level. I spend over 150 nights per year in hotels. This truly was one of the worst properties I have stayed at in the past 10 years.

Clean hotel, friendly staff, awesome pool and bar, great breakfast and lunch deals, happy hour everyday 3-7. A little far from downtown, but just a cab ride away.

This Hotel has a great front desk staff, and an okay pool, but the rooms are horrible, the sheets are ugly, there was dust on the headboard of the bed, the remote didn't work the ironing board was dirty, the bath tub was extremely small and there is mold on the ceilings. The soap smelled good. The housekeeper sang gospel in the hallways, which is annoying at 9:30am she threw away our juice but didn't give us fresh towels This Hotel is comparable with a motel, I wouldn't suggest any children or couples stay there. It's one of those hotels that give a great presence in the lobby, there is a computer it looks clean, but when we got in the room it was a nightmare. DO NOT STAY HERE! The location is great but the hotel is horrible. They are supposedly tearing this hotel down... I hope I don't even have to look at it when I come back to south Florida
