A traditional style hotel. In the centre of all the popular bars and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to the beach. This said, it was very quiet, and you do not need to worry about any disturbance from the late night life available.Very clean. Good sized rooms. I will definitely return.

short but sweetStayed at this hotel for just 1 night after visiting our favourite restaurant El Oceano in Mijas Costa.Easy to find,and excellent parking with the huge multi storey below.Staff very helpful and pleasnt and room clean and welcoming.Not for a long stay as no balcony,but excellent for short breaks.

This is a great base from which to explore FuengirolaWe were glad to be able to get to the Hotel Las Rampas at all, after a long delay and the usual nonsense you have to put up with if you fly with a budget airline. Because of the delay, we almost missed our (prepaid) taxi transfer, but just by chance, we found the taxi driver outside the airport and the journey was a lot quicker than we anticipated, probably because of the lateness of the hour (around 1am). When we got to the hotel, we were worried that our room might have been let to someone else because although we had warned them in advance that we would be late, we arrived well past our intended 11.30pm. But we need not have panicked because we were greeted by a charming man, who told us not to worry, as it happened all the time. We weren't sure what to expect, as we knew nothing about the hotel before arriving, save that we had booked a double, en-suite room. So we were very pleased to find that the room was spacious and very clean, with TV, air-con and its own set of patio doors, complete with outdoor table and chairs. The chap who had booked us in was very helpful and while the hotel doesn't have 24-hour room service or anything of that nature, it does have a couple of vending machines outside the restaurant area, so he sorted me out with the relevant coinage, so we could get some much-needed cold drinks and water, after our fraught journey.The next day, we went out to explore and found that while the hotel was situated in what we thought was a very strange place, it was actually extremely handy for shops, bars, restaurants and, for sun-lovers, that all-important beach. We didn't actually time the walk, but I don't think the beach could have been more than seven minutes away. And on the days we didn't feel like getting covered in sand, we stayed within the confines of the hotel, as we were delighted to discover it had its own little pool - a short walk away from our private patio, but far enough away that

Hotel Las Rampas FuengirolaA very centrally located hotel very close to bus and train station. Very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast adequate. A little noisy being above various bars and restaurants but nothing too bad. Would recommend this hotel.

Accomodation reviewOnly issue with room is lack of light, may bother some people. As room is on terrace curtains need to be closed for privacy. We were very happy with accomodation.

Fuengirola Stop OverA generally pleasant hotel right in the middle of the town centre and 5 mins walk to the beach. The open plan style of the hotel with the shops and bars under is quite nice. We did have a slight panic at reception when checking in as we did not have our passports with us - a legal requirement in Spain. But the receptionist waived the rules this time...The room was a good size and typical re: Costa Del Sol. Dont forget to make sure the ot water is turned on (the switch was in our wardrobe and was off!!).
