Beautiful setting and nice folks, but no service after hours. Office closes early and there's only emergency number at another property. AC in one of our pueblo casitas didn't work and they had no after-hours maintenance staff to help. Made for a very warm night!

Very clean and romantic. For a very romantic experience any couple should try it!

my wife and I came here for our second wedding anniversary, never having been to Sante Fe. i did some research and las palomas seemed like the right fit for us. this is a historic place. some of the buildings are 200 years old. if you want brand new, stay at the comfort inn near the freeway. if you want rustic old world sante fe, you have to try this place. the rooms are very clean and updated. the pictures are a little misleading but not by much. ask for rooms in the 100 year old building instead of 200. they're nicer. great free breakfast with made to order waffles and lattes and free parking which at some other places can run you 20 bucks a night. location is perfect, can walk to everything. we'll stay here again.

Las Polomas is in a wondeful location, tucked away on a side street only a few blocks from the Plaza. The small casistas are nestled in amongst lovely landscaping. The rooms are a little rough around the edges, but clean. Try not to get a room directly off the street, it can be a little disconcerting to hear passer-by conversation! Only complaint was that the smoke alarm went off in the middle of the night, and when I called the front desk there was no answer.

Nestled together, close to town, very Santa Fe, good waffles. Not much parking. The room we stayed in was a one bedroom. It was smallish and the floors and bed squeaked allot. But we thought it was charming. The hotel is tucked behind a wall and the landscaping was very nice. There was a small fountain outside the room, nice lighting at night. The hot tub is small and secluded. It was clean and we stayed for one night. Compared to the 5 star we stayed in at Telluride, this was not to compare. But for the price and the convenience of being close to the plaza, I guess it was worth it. Parking was not available in front so we had to park at the office and walk about 1/2 block. I would definitely stay again.

great location but i didn't like it at all!!!!! is nothing like the pictures!!!!! the bed was the worst thingggggg!!!!!!! my back still hurts, its really overprice!!!!the bed sheets are old and the pillows very old..not clean to me, I didnt want to sleep on that bed. ONLY FOR THE BED AND BED CLOTH I WILL NOT RECOMEND IT AT ALL. THE LADY ON THE FRONT DESK, WAS VERY KIND, THE COKIES THEY SERVE AS COMPLEMENTARY ARE THE BEST TOO. NEVER AGAIN..

The location of this hotel is great. However the property needs maintenance - ie fresh paint, etc. it's starting to look old and tired.

It was very clean and comfortable. Hard to find and a little noisy and a little worn. We stayed in one of the casitas off site. It was a little hard to find in the dark. When we finally found it, it was clean and comfortable. The rooms are not exactly sound proof, so as long as your neighbors aren't noisy or the groundskeeper doesn't start blowing leaves at 7 AM, your stay will be fine. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and it was convenient to the square downtown.

Well, we just arrived in Santa Fe after spending 2 wonderful nights in Taos and a amazing hotel. We had reservations at Las Palomas for 2 months now. I chose this hotel because of the photographs. It looked like a nice place to stay. We arrived to check in.....stood there for 10 minutes and not a soul in site. While waiting we walked around the grounds to find nothing but dissapointment. This place was NOTHING like the pictures that the online travel website depicted. We had just stayed at a amazing hotel/spa in Taos for $*** per night and came to Las Palomas and was paying $***a night. What a rip off. We went over to the Colorado hotel across the street to find a upscale hotel for $*** per night. We tried to cancel and they would not let us get out of the deposit. They offered us to stay at there sister hotel, Hotel Santa Fe which we agreed to do. That place was a bit dissapointing also for $*** per night, however, they honored their rate of $***which was still a rip for what you got. In summary, Las Palomas is NOT worth $*** per night. It is worth maybe $**per night. So my advice to you is ..... shop around the Santa Fe hotels before you decide on Las Palomas. It is very misrepresented in the photos.

Wonderful hotel! We have stayed with las Palomas before, and always been very happy. When we checked in we found that we had been put at the sister property, the Hotel Santa Fe, which is usually much more expensive. The room was great, staff was attentive, and the hotel and grounds are beautiful. The restaurant and flute player by the fireplace were highlights of our stay. We highly recomend Las Palomas and Hotel Santa Fe!

The breakfasts were very good. The hotel common area very nice. Our casita was located down and across the street from the main hotel. There was not enough parking to accommodate the casitas across and down the street, so 2 out of the 3 nights we spent there, we had to park at the main hotel and walk to our casita. We would not have chosen to stay there if we had known the hotel was located in two different locations. The floor had been waxed. The rugs that were placed on the bedroom floor did not help. Upon walking into the room the first day, we both almost landed on our rears! The floors were unbelievably slick (think ice). The air conditioner (central, I think, as it ran on a thermostat) ran almost continually, no matter what we set the thermostat. The staff was very friendly, free internet use to get boarding passes was a plus.

The various buildings are very historic and definitely more rustic than we normally prefer. However in Santa Fe, it was a good experience for us to stay at this hotel

With the exception of the location being very close to the plaza everything else was terrible! The staff with the exception of a couple gentlemen were very rude. I'm not sure what they cleaned in the room each day but they did replace the towels but that was it. I didn't expect the Ritz Carlson but I could have done without the nails and cobwebs in the ceiling. I was very disappointed with the overall stay for the cost!

The casita was very nice but the deluxe continental breakfast was more than disapointing both mornings. They had difficulty keeping clean plates, coffee cups and food out at the buffet. The 2 Russian employees were rude to us both days when we asked to have the buffet re-stocked and for clean dishes. Our room was not clean when we arrived back after shoppingat at 4 pm when we were ready to rest before dinner. We arrived Friday night the kitchen trash was full and had been missed by the maid. The property was lovely but the service was very poor. We gave the manager a chance to make things right but he declined. We will not return.

great location, just down the road from the plaza. A problem with the door lock when we first arrived was quickly resolved, and we were upgraded to a suite. the decor and quiteness of the room were wonderful and we loved the patio/balcony and the fireplace. The warm cookies when we checked in were a great touch after a long drive. We would stay again.

The windows were cracked and dirty. The curtains did not fit the windows. The key kept sticking. The area outside the hotel was dirty. The ice machine was in another hotel across the street. There was no securty and the office closed at 10:00pm and did not open until 7:00 AM. There was very tight parking and the room I was in was across the street from houses wilth chain linked fences and Beware of Dog signs. It was a horrible experience and very expensive. I only stayed one night instead of staying two.

We went to Santa Fe for a short stress respite and some well needed family time. When we arrived in Santa Fe we called the hotel to find out if we could check in. We were rudely told that we would have to come to the hotel for them to tell us this. I went to my room mid day with a bad head ache and listened to a tile drill for 6 hours right outside my room. We discovered upon trying to brush our teeth that the sink wouldn't drain. We walked downt to the office which is in another building and informed the staff about the sink and that our second room was freezing cold and the drywall behind the toilet was caved in. The lady at the desk called the manager, whom proceeded to ask her what entity the room booking came through (Orbitz) and how much we had paid for the room at that point I was told the building was old and we had to expect some of this and if I wanted to move they would find me another unit down the street but I would have to do this myself as the lady in the office was there by herself and didn't have time to help me. In the morning we woke to two inches of snow which caused the walkways to be solid ice. No one cleared them or salted or sanded walkways. I would never stay at this hotel again. The manager spoke to me in a patronizing manor and the staff treated us like we were a huge inconvenience.

We actually picked this hotel/b&b by the positive reviews we read online and we were not disappointed. We stayed three nights and loved it. It has a very nice Santa Fe flair, adobe style casitas, wood beam ceilings, native art/decorations. Our room had a small corner kiva fireplace (complete with pinon wood, fire starter and matches), clean and comfortable king size bed/linens, kitchenette with everything needed to cook small meals including dishes for two, glasses (wine and drinking), coffee mugs, flatware, sharp knives, etc. Dish soap and towels, mini-fridge and microwave, stove top with tea kettle, candles, you name it, they seem to have thought of it and provided it. The bathroom comes complete with nice robes, clean and thick towels, shampoo and lotions, excellent bath soap, hair dryer and ironing board, even a makeup mirror. Nice tile counters in the bathroom and kitchenette. The free breakfast was also excellent, featuring made-to-order hot waffles, fresh fruit, juices, bagels, english muffins, cereal, yogurt and of course hot coffee and tea. The front desk was very helpful with all our questions, giving us nice suggestions for restaurants, etc. We walked to the plaza/downtown, just a few short blocks, a very nice stroll, quiet streets mostly. The only downsides for us were the hot tub was out of commission due to a frozen pipe and the parking is somewhat limited and tight. We would definitely stay there again. Can't wait to go back.
