The room was a little small for the 5 of us and they did not have roll away beds or a couch for 3rd child. The carpet was pretty dirty w/ dead flies & bugs as well as the bathroom. However, we all enjoyed ourselves and the kids really liked the pool and waterslides. Very kid friendly hotel.

Great amenities. Amenities charge far to high. Great place to bring a family, business or have great romantic getaway.

Very nice place to spend a few days - especially if you have a family. Lots of things to do on the property - lazy river, water slide, tennis, golf. Room was large, well maintained. Had a lake-side room so enjoyed the first floor room a lot as the kids (and we) could watch the ducks right of the porch.

This is one of our favorite places to stay. It feels clean, beautiful and cozy. We were worried that KSL took them over because we do not enjoy La Costa, but they have done a superb job with the renovation here. It was a wonderful place before and now it is even better. It is so quiet, yet across the street is The River Shopping Center with fantastic restaurant choices such as Cheesecake Factory, Flemings, etc. The spa is heaven. It is so clean and the view of the mountains from the waiting lounge is bliss. The spa pool with calm music under water is wonderful. The adult pool is also bliss. If you have children, the splashtopia area is fantastic, especially if your room is located there. It makes it all very convenient for families. It's truly spectacular! You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful location and amenities. Pool was fabulous and just what I wanted for my kids. Not enough lounges or umbrellas at the pool for the amount of people. We had a fabulous time at this hotel. My family and I enjoyed the pool the most. I have 2 young kids and they both had a blast. I can't comment on the restaurants as I ate out for all of our meals. The resort is close to so many amenities. Unfortunately, as great as the pool is, there just isn't enough chairs to accommodate everyone. Get there early!

Had many things go wrong the minute we checked into the hotel. First, our in-room safe did not work and it took over 2 hours for maintenance to fix it forcing us to have to take our valuables to the pool area or else our children would lose a day of swimming. Toilet flusher fell off, stopper would not work in bathroom so we could not take baths. Most alarming of all was a hotel employee entering our room mistakenly at 11pm at night. He simply put in his key and entered our room. Luckily, the chain lock was on the door. However, when asked by my husband who he was and what he was doing he simply said "they must have given me the wrong room number" and left quickly. He never once identified himself or explained the error in order to ease our fears. My husband immediately contacted the front desk who took almost an hour to investigate the situation and get back with us. In the meantime, myself and my three children were scared to death. Finally, the front desk explained the mistake with very little of an apology or any accommodations made for the breach of security. Room security is outdated with nothing more than a chain lock which can be easily cut by criminals. Pool area is small with few umbrellas. Kids younger than 8-9 cannot ride water slide and beach area is very small. Food service around pool is scarce and non-accommodating. Would never stay at this hotel again. For a resort of this supposed high caliber, every aspect of their operation was substandard. Highly overrated!!!

great pool facility for parents and kids, and a nice getaway "tranquility" pool that could use a few more umbrellas. As I write this review I am not distracted by loud music, children, or construction, but the loudest noises I have ever heard coming from the walls and ceiling. No, the sound is not caused by other guests but old piping. It is so loud it is impossible to sleep through the night, even an earplug purchase did not allow for a peaceful nights sleep. To the staff's credit they did move us from the first room we were in to another one, which is louder than the first! And we can rest assured (so to speak) they put another guest in my first room without addressing the problem. My advice, pick another hotel with newer buildings, because what I'm listening to right now is unbeliveably distracting and is certainly not relaxing.

I really liked the overall look and feel of the hotel. It was also very convenient to shopping center across the street. The hotel rooms themselves could use a remodel. I was dissatisfied with spa services, a/c was not working upstairs and there was no warning. I think if the a/c was fixed and after the pool and room remodel we'd give this hotel a second chance. The overall look and feel of the hotel was nice but I think we just picked the wrong time to go. It's definitely not "Resort" quality but I would say it's a nice facility.

There pool is awsome for kids. water slides, water canons (but they can't turn them enough to get people wet on the side of the pool), lazy river, free inner tubes, close bathrooms to the pool, padded lounges, umbrellas. they even have a beach, great for the little ones.Burgers are 11 though. wow. They messed up on my room. I asked for 2 queen beds and they gave me a king and a pullout sofa. I didn't pay 300. for a pullout sofa !! Even my kids hated it. They would not change my room, said they were booked up. I'm used to Vegas, They usually have more rooms and will change you. The TV in the room was cool, 42" plasma. The king bed was ok for comfort. The main reason we went ther was for the kids to play at the pool area. If I didn't have kids , I would not recommend this place. Go somewhere thats quieter. If you go get a garantee in writing on your beds !!

While I reserved a vista room, I ended up first in a building under construction, then one that was being painted then finally in one that overlooked the children's waterpark. NOT relaxing. The fitness facility cost extra 50 per day. The drinks at the pool were 12-20. More importantly, the staff was rude, unhelpful and unavailable. Lines to get assistance were long. Room service never came...need I go on? I wasn't alone - the complaints were plentiful from other guests in line.

Nice selection of dinning close by. Did not get requested room. I had requested a room with two double beds. When I checked in nothing was said but when I got to my room it had a king bed. I called the front desk and they said that there were no doubles left but if someone canceled their reservations and one became available they would let me know. I just wondered how they determined who got the doubles since I had already checked in and they were saving doubles for people who hadn't even checked in yet. They did not apologize for this error at all. In all my years of travel I have never had this happen. I was traveling with a friend and we had to share a bed.
