Excellent hotel except for the food, fab location if you are not looking for night life.Complex hotel is really good, accomodation was very nice, view is just amazing and staff always here for you. One of the best service I had in years!My only criticize is concerning the food at Bella Vista restaurant, it is not that good and for the price you have a few restaurants just outside the hotel much better.Room service is good for value if you just want a pizza or burger, and the Concha beach restaurant is good but not much choice.We also had a surprise concerning the breakfast included.. it is in a little box of your casita, what is great when you wake-up, but only coffee and a few fruits, no butter, jam or toast. If you like the full breafast at the restaurant, you have to pay a supplement. Should be mentionned when you arrive as we went a few time not knowing that.We had to extand our vacacions for a few days due to the Swine Flue in Mexico City and when we asked a rate at the reception the price at the hotel was a lot more than going online again with laterooms! so we went online an re-book for 3 days.Also if you like to spend time in town or at night, you always have to take a taxi with a fix price.Spa is very basic and the reflexology I had was not that good.I will definately recommand that hotel for the service, room and location.I will book again in the future.

Was a very romantic vacation spending time with each other and enjoying the fabulous view from our own casita. Having a private pool was all that!! The restaurants also have fabulous views of the Acapulco bay. Just wished they hadn't retired the pink jeeps for renting while staying on the property.

We went in October of this year and we were blown away by the beauty of the hotel. The rooms we clean and our private pool was beautiful. The people were very friendly and helpful. Stay in a room in the 400's if you want privacy. They need more resturants and more variety on their room service menu. Other than that.... one of the best vactions we ever had

Make sure, if you crave privacy, you book a casita at least on the 4th level. Private pool does not equal privacy. It is worth the extra money, in my opinion. Hotel is on a very busy & dangerous main street. Taxis from hotel are more expensive (sometimes 30/hour!). Use blue & white VW taxi's, if possible. Excellent staff; efficient, friendly, helpful. Buy supplies, food, snacks, beer, etc. from WalMart or another of Acapulco's large grocery markets (mercado). Speak Spanish whenever possible. Make sure to ask 'how much' ahead of time (taxi's, souvenirs, etc.)

Service is impeccable. Atmosphere is wonderful. I love the midcentury decor and architecture. It looks like they're slowly refurbishing it; some things seemed just redone (like the bathroom) while others (like the cushions on the pool furniture) were a little weathered. Our room was a free-standing bungalow with private patio and pool overlooking Acapulco Bay and the city. View was breathtaking. Lovely shower with stone walls, tiled sunken floor and rainfall shower head. Fresh hibiscus flowers in the room every day. Breakfast delivery door is genius. Beach club has a saltwater pool open to the ocean with tropical fish living in it, and a regular pool with swim up bar. There is poolside drink/snack service and a restaurant. The food options at the hotel leave a bit to be desired. Bellavista is the only dinner option and though it has top-notch service and a pretty good wine list (and an amazing view), the food itself was only ok. It's the kind of food to hit you over the head with the fact that you're paying a lot, too much sauce, too much meat, not enough vegetables. Room service is fast and pretty good, but pricey even for room service. The hotel is a quick but expensive cab ride away from Acapulco proper for other dining options. There are also equally pricey fancy restaurants within walking distance but the busy narrow highway doesn't seem that safe for pedestrians.

I was astounded at how fortunate we were to arrive in such a beautiful place without knowing anything about it before booking. It was a surprise for my husband for a special birthday and I couldn't have been more pleased with everything about Las Brisas. The room was oustanding; we loved the private pool and the service was fantastic. Views from our room, the Sunset Bar and the restaurant were unparalleled. The meals at the Bellavista restaurant were a bit pricey but very elegant and delicious. We can't wait to go back.

The hotel is wonderful, you can have your own private pool, and the beach club is awesome too! Very relaxing, no hurry to do anything, and the service was outstanding! The people were so nice and friendly, always smiling! Many of the employees have been there for years and years, you can tell it's a well run establishment that hires great people. The bay is beautiful, we had a wonderful view from our balcony. You can see parrots flying around, and though we didn't see any, I know there are iguana's as well. The bats come out every night and fly around, you can watch them from the sunset bar. We didn't go into town, there was no reason to leave the hotel, everything was there! The Belle Vista restaurant was the best experience, I've never had service like that before, and to sit and look out over Acapulco Bay all lit up was wonderful. We will be going again!

we stayed two glorious nights while at a timeshare in acapulco. this place is heaven on earth! the staff is excellent, views are unparalled, and room is dreamy. we stayed in brisas beach club room 446 and is was very private and lovely. it was on the bay side. email the concierge directly to request a particular room number. the view from rooms on ocean the ocean side was great, but there was a bit of road noise from highway below. they are happy to show you other available rooms when you arrive. the beach club is a must-do. it's very pretty down there. we checked in early and out late to spend extra time at the beach club. they were very accommodating to this.

One FANTASTIC vacation! The serenity and privacy of our own pool coupled with the option of the gorgeous beach club made for one of the most relaxing vacations ever. The service is unbelievably friendly and prompt. And that Brisas Button is MAGIC - anything you desire is provided with one touch of the button! The facilities are extremely clean and the flora only adds to the ambience... Oh, and again, the staff is the friendliest and most accomodating we've yet to encounter. This was our second stay at Las Brisas Acapulco, and it definitely will NOT be the last! Try it - it is addicting...

On a scale of 1 to 10, my wife and I easily give Las Brisas a 30!!! (And this is saying a lot, because we're usually hard pressed to go beyond 8/9 for the "best of the best.") From the moment we arrived at LB after our Panama Canal cruise that ended in Acapulco until we got in a cab 3 days later for our flight home, our stay at LB was outstanding. Every staff member -- front desk, jeep drivers, maids, room service delivery personal, etc. -- was very friendly/helpful. (Even though tips are covered in the room cost, a 1.00 - 2.00 (or 5.00) extra tip for services given brings a quick smile/thank you.) We stayed in casita 384 (highly recommended). Casita 384 has a BEAUTIFUL ocean/bay view, with full sun on the PRIVATE pool from early morning until sunset. The pool area was VERY private, with full sun (& ample shade) as the day progressed. The casita/pool area was so nice that we were hard pressed to even leave our casita. We could swim/sit/lie in the sun/shade as wanted/needed, with no real need to use LB's BEAUTIFUL fresh/saltwater beach facilities. And the sunsets from the patio at 384 were awesome!!! As for the food....LB ( and the LB area) has several very good resturants, but we found that the room service food was EXCELLENT/econimical (try the shrimp pizza) and fast/fairly priced. As a point of SPECIAL note: the casita had a WELL stocked bar/refrigerator. BUT, you can buy beer/etc. at the LB Deli (near the main office) for about a 1/3 of the in room cost. Or, if you are staying longer/or are more frugel, visit the local WalMart. The cliff divers are a must! El Mirador -- GREAT view/service. So-so food. Las Brisas - HIGHLY Recommended!!!

las brasis is a beautifull resort.the views were spetuclar and breath taking. would recomend this resort to anyone. plan on returnning to acapulco in the future and staying at las brasis.

It's a unique hotel, especially for a romantic escapade. It's hard to leave the room and room service too expensive. Las Brisas is an old fashion well kept unique hotel, where most of the rooms are tiny villas with private pool. (We had to upgrade our room.)

We found this place to be well worn. Highly rated restaurant was the worst meal we had in Acapulco and the most expensive. Service was slow even with almost no other customers. An entire drawer of expensive clothing left in the room could not be found. that came up missing. The hotel took no resposnsibilty and it took numerous calls to even get some one to talk about it. The highest "ofificial "we were allowed to contact was the concierge. Very noisy, we had to call the front desk about screaming kids in pools around our room that was touted to be quiet and romantic. They did nothing.They did nothing. Do yourself a favor and stay some other place.

My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon at Las Brisas, and for the most part enjoyed our stay. The casitas are very nice and private and the drivers are very courteous. However when we had a problem with a 'peeping Tom' that was an employee, the front desk passed it off with nothing more than an apology. La Concha beach club is lovely, however the restaurant is pricey and if it is not busy then the service is great. When the cruise ship crowds arrive, the service suffers greatly. The pools are very clean as is the hotel and grounds. The location is good for a honeymoon as it is very private. But, if you like to see other things beside the hotel or you want to walk on a sandy beach you have to travel about 20 min to the center part of town by taxi. The taxi that are located directly across from the hotel are very nice and reliable and rather expensive.
